Thank you Shawn for your clear explanation. So nice to know everything in a few minutes and not have to read a whole manual. Perfect. Have a nice weekend.
I took the Mavic 3 for a flight this morning and I am very impressed with the cruise control. I set the C3 button for cruise control but it's a bit awkward to to press the start button as I'm holding the right joystick with the same hand. I'll get a lot of use out of this new feature.
The new advanced gain and expo settings are the real winner in this update imo…seems like a whole package now. I’m actually excited to step away from the fpv rigs and go fly the thing some more, since now I can hopefully make the it behave how I want.
Thanks for the review of the firmware update information. The cruise control has my interest up, nice addition The Mavic is the best drone in my stable of drones and it keeps getting better.
Ah, someone talking about the new firmeware! Thank you. So odd... usually when there's a new drone release, there's a bunch of new videos covering the new drone. Seems very quiet after the new releasees today!
Thank you for this video I feel like the Mavic 3 pro has come a long way since it's release day ! I say that to say that it is hands down the best consumer drone built to date without question ! Please continue to do the amazing work you do for our hobby it really is much appreciated! FlySafe & StayBlessed 🙏
Great video! But C3 probably isnt going to be your preferred spot once you try out cruise control. Helps to have both hands on the sticks. C1 or C2 is a better option I feel.
You might consider setting cruise on one of the C buttons, C2 maybe so you can activate it while holding the sticks. Maybe put the landing light on C3. Thanks for the updates.
Question, do have to bind the remote to one aircraft at a time? It is a bit of a hassle to do that every time on changes quadcopters. It seems that just selecting the drone when turning on the remote should be enough. Maybe I am doing something wrong or need to get the cheaper control too to have one for each aircraft.
Playiong with this new update, but I still do not understand whaT "Optimized the name rule for footage, the footage name is incremental after formatting." IS
Poor advice. Setup Cruise Control on the C2 button. It will be very difficult to press the C3 button while holding the sticks in the position you want for cruise control.
You used the RCpro to demonstrate the update. Is the procedure the same with the RC? I've been having problems with connecting the RC to update firmware. I don't use wifi, just use mobile hotspot. Any advice?
Great video my friend 😀👍 Question: will the Mavic 3 batteries fit the Classic Version? New firmware battery needed? Hope you can answer this. Greetings from 🇳🇱

Thank you very much
Shawn, you are the best. I was getting ready to order the new Mavic 3 because I want cruise control mode, you saved me money as I impulse buy.

Awesome. Doing it now. Thx Shawn..

Sean thank you so much for this video. Especially the cruise control - I'm anxious to test this.
Always appreciate your videos! Clear and informative. Looking forward to updating and testing out the changes!
Great one.. watching here in Dubai

Thanks as always. Nice, helpful overview.
Thanks
Cheers Sean 👍
Will this cruise control function be available on the Air 2s/DJI RC Pro combo?
Thank you for this

Good idea, I may end up doing that 👍
Are you going to do a review of the action 3 ? Good video!
Very helpful.
Mate I see your videos, I dont need to watch them, I like them straight and watch them later :D
Thank you for supporting my channel 🙂

Do you have any suggestions for strobes for doing night photography?
Can an update be deleted or uninstalled or returned to previous update?
Does cruise control include maintaining altitude (as well as speed)?
Thx for the infos!
Don’t make the mistake I made and keep trying to connect my rc controller to my mavic 3 by selecting the mavic 3 classic option at start up won’t work
Does it have waypoints.
Did they add a tripod mode? Someone mentioned that….

Try following the same steps to see what happens. That would be my recommendation.
Has anyone tested if after this update, the Mavic 3 appears on the Drone Scanner app or any other RID app available on the Play Store?

Yes, they use the exact same battery
@@AirPhotography, thanks. Firmware update battery needed?
Hey the night mode doesn't show in my mavic 3 what can I do about it?
It's possible that you might not have updated the firmware. Do the version numbers match to what has been presented here?
@@FangsCPO It works now thanks
Do not update there are a lot of bugs and signal loss!
I have not experienced this yet myself I’ve probably done about 25 flight since the update. What bugs have you run into?
