A QN85B if it is VA, yes that would be probably the best bang for the buck MiniLED considering the price.. 576 dimming zones is not bad compared to QN90A was at 792. With a VA panel it would be even less difference. So I am almost skeptical about it being a VA panel. What would they offer for the 90B to make people pay $500 more? The X95K I believe will be a stunner in Picture quality. That it might have a tiny bit more blooming than QN90A had, well like Caleb said, Sony opts to let the TV show specular highlights in full and not crush detail instead. I rather have that personally then dim and crushed image.. Black level isn't everything. Not if it's detrimental to image quality. If you have any light in your room, that blooming wouldn't really be noticeable anyway. So comes down to viewing preference.. Now QN90B, if it has improved almost everything that was wrong with QN90A, it might be the best overall TV in MiniLED, but it has a lot of things to fix. It had VRR with QN90A but no local dimming. Can it do it this year? If it can and it's game mode in general allowing local dimming. It has a leg up on the X95K.. But I doubt it. Both will have worse image quality VRR. But Sony offer full local dimming in gaming outside VRR. Samsung doesn't. So PQ wise the X95K will be better.
I am really excited for the 8 series and the Sony X95K because of Sony's balanced picture. QD OLED is exciting too, but what really excited me about Caleb's review of the X95K was that he said the looking at the A95K and the X95K in the same room he couldn't help but notice how similar they looked. He also said that the image of the X95K had a lot of depth to it. I am really excited for the X95K.
To be honest in a room with some light in it.. I wouldn't be surprised the X95K would beat ANY of the OLEDs in Picture quality or equal them. The reason is higher brightness punch in HDR. The black levels would look as deep in a lit room and blooming would be minimized. The OLEDs would only win in a dark room. Sadly most reviewers seems insistent on always doing dark room reviews. Always biased towards OLED.
@@loki76 yeah reviewers usually point to stuff like subtitles for blooming, but the fact is that an OLED won't be able to hit a certain level of brightness, and with new HDR standards in some content brightness of a TV matters, I would say watching sports too the brightness matters. If you get a good LCD TV the blooming in real content won't even be noticeable unless you go off to the side. I am not say OLED tvs suck, but the flaws of LED tvs are always exaggerated.
I'm really confused please help to decide asap 👍 Today I'll buy this Please suggest asap 55 inch qn90b or x90k? Please suggest Samsung Mini LED Samsung without Dolby vision, DTS and IMAX Or SONY Full Array with all of the upper mentioned 😐
I think I’m a little more intrigued than most by Samsung’s and LG’s software and hardware upgrades for 2022 models. I think we might end up being surprised by the leap they take over their 2021 counterparts.
No, 42 & 48 inch will be non-EVO but 55 - 83 will be all EVO because LG doesn't think smaller TVs benefit from the EVO brightness technology and so the extra $$ is not worth it; they believe consumers are price sensitive at these smaller sizes.
As a man looking for a good 55 inch gaming TV to replace my tcl p605 from 2017 so I'm gonna wait for prime day for the 55 inch c2 to drop to 1500-1600.
@@QHYPEZFIFAGAMEPLAY7 same in all honesty but with the c2 getting the evo and ex panel for longevity with gaming along with the upgraded processor for a lil better picture I feel like the c2 is definitely a bit more worth it for the slight wait.
I will be waiting for next year, to buy a tv, hopefully after Sony can get Vrr working with local dimming, working, unless the x95k does end up working out, for an Xbox series x.
I honestly don't know if this is something that can work with local dimming? I know the MediaTek SoC is too weak. But I wonder if it has something more to do with the constant changing of the frame rate in VRR and the Local dimming having to work with it that causes the problem. Meaning to "sync it up".. I could be wrong and all that is needed is a stronger SoC.. Samsung does their own and I guess we will find out how VRR looks on QN90B this year??
@@loki76 true, okay, so I may have written off the x95k too quickly… I’m not even sure if I will have an interest in vrr, I mean my Xbox supports that, but I’m not sure I will have a use in said technology, so as long as I can tell the tv, I don’t want vrr, I should still have use in local dimming with an Xbox plugged into the tv? Correct?
looking for s tv in 2022 cant be lg because the new web os sucks. what would you recoment knowing i hate advertisments or myu screen taken up by irellivant data like weather or disny plus pshing.
Oled Glossy panels for Monitors ? No Way... They are just unusable Mirror's. To fight Reflections u need brightness and We all know that for monitor close up use the max nits must be 100-200 .

4 of the best together. It doesn't get any better than this.
I've missed the last few. Been under the weather. Been napping every day.
Great video guys.
The QN900B having 144hz should help movies as the 24hz refresh fits in the displays native refresh rate, but you'd have to have it in 144hz mode.

Hello, i just want to know sony 8k Z8H is better or X95J is better to bye which one you suggest?..thanks
Is it worth getting the LG G1 with the recent price drop at $3200 for 77 inch?
Where are the 55 inches
How come you do not mention the TCL OD Zero X11 tv?

That would be great. Guess we'll have to keep tuning in.
But for gaming which do you think is better between A90K and C2? Calculating things like best upscale and brightness between the two?
I dont know what to choose X95k,A950K, QN90B or G1, i game alot but for PS5 only & thinking to get X95k that will last longer than oled.
What panel is going to be on the C2 48 is it the same as C2 55 if not why.

HDTVTest just dropped a 48 C2 unboxing and it looks like the 48 C2 will have an Evo panel after all.
@@highdefnews Was just going to mention that.. It has an EVO/EX panel.

There's only 2 TV contenders this year...
Sony A95K QD-Oled for 55"-65"...and LG G2 for anything larger
@JungleBubble if you care that much about gaming then why not a PCband 240hz+ monitor?
After Arthur on PBS.
How about if your a gamer plus a streaming ?? LG or Sony I do love the G series
LG is my choice
Sony only has 2 hdmi 2.1, how many/which sources actually make use of that?
