Will and Grace still has one of the best pilots of all time! You knew exactly who and how all the characters were going to be and that never changed.

the reboot was a bad idea, I was so excited when I first heard about it, but it was directionless and just too busy and confused. But having said that as a gay man the original run did break down a lot of barriers and for that I say thank you
badgamer1967 KC Agreed. The original series was fresh and zingy. This reboot was tired and slow moving, with only a few good moments here and there. It was the same production / writing team but l think they had just ran out of ideas. Lacklustre scripts led to an unenthusiastic studio audience, so the new seasons just didn't work.
They recycled a few old storylines too, like W&G sleeping with the same bread making chef; that mirrored both Will and Karen sleeping with Karen's pastry chef in the original series. A few other plotlines were similar to the old show too.

@@ReddishNeck I also think that the producers felt they had to make the show less edgy so that it would not offend anyone, and the character that suffered the most because of it was Karen.
Nothings changed nothing!
Anyone notice their glasses are the same shape, except that Eric's are just thicker rimmed? But, the shape is the exact same. 🏩
