Amazing writers. Amazing actors. I’ll miss it so much. My favourite 😍
I don't want this party to end
Wow. I enjoyed that 1 minute of Megan Mullally's airtime vs everyone elses, and particularly enjoyed that even more of what she was saying was muted compared to her castmates 🙄
That's because Megan's interview is from 2017, from the reboot's premiere press junket. Notice how the camera on her isn't moving like the one filming the rest of the cast. And she doesnt mention the series finale.
She was probably so mad at all of them she couldn't be bothered with this farewell interview.
I think the interview with Megan it's a recovery from a interview three years ago when they started the reboot. She doesn't speak about the ending, the answers are very vague and the cloths are the same from then. Even in the ending, she's almost out of the picture, the smiles between her and the rest of the cast are awkward. There's really a bad vibe. I don't know who's to blame. I heard both versions: that Debra is a diva, that Megan was a diva. I don't know. I think the reboot was less funny from the first eight seasons. I used to love all the stories, and scenes. Now, everything sounds forced. I'm a big fan of the show. Truly am. I bought the full DVD collection box set, I used to brag about the show to everyone. Not anymore. There's something off. Probably Debra never wanted to make the reboot. Probably Megan just got depressed with her mother's death (if you follow her on Instagram you'll noticed a diferent atitude after her mother's death a couple years ago). I don't know. But I will always remember Jack and Karen. They were the soul of the show.
Debra wasn't supportive of Megan when her mother passed. This created tension on set. Debra would invite everyone to parties and not Megan. This heightened the tension and none of the cast/crew got involved because they didn't want to admit that they had a problem.
Cannot write about the ‘drama’.
But you said it right... Jack and Karen show NOT Will n Grace !!
Always was.
DEF not as funny as the first time... which is unfortunate.
Agreed. It was nice to have them back, but it can never be the same.
That being said, you know there will be a reunion in 10, 20, or so years .
I never got the story on Debra & Meghan. But then again, I like them both and it’s probably best I don’t.
I can say that loosing a parent does change a person greatly.
I had what I thought was a close friend of 15 years, but after my father and step-mother died, her lack of empathy made me question our friendship and I realized it had always been one sided.
Rewatched and you are so right. The background is only different in Meghan’s interview. Which makes you think “Did she not do the interview bc she was not contractually bound? If so, why would she not want to support the show, creators, staff & crew if she was not getting along with simply her co-stars. Something went wrong on that set with her I’m guessing, and possibly she just couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there.
She’s the Kim Cattrall of W&G.
Sean Hayes the VERY best!
I think Will stole the show in the reboot. While Karen and Jack are my favourites overall. Will just seemed the most natural when the show returned
Just watched the 11 seasons (again), and i'm happy and sad at the same time. Glad to saw it sad it's gone. I miss it.
This cast is literally so amazing and I miss them ahhhh😩😩😩😩
Karen and Jack need their own shiw😍😍😍
It was nice to relive this very special show. And as 40- somethings we get to look back and say “That is our generation’s All In The Family, or I Love Lucy.”
But like all treasures in life, it can’t last. I like that W&G left that apartment. I always felt the last episode of the original was not authentic. We didn’t want it to happen like that and, though it may have been the creator’s truth/life, he created characters that transcends himself and it was not the right answer for them. This was.
Good bye Will & Grace. Goodbye Karen & Jack. Always in our 💜
This show will always have a special place in my heart. I agree that the first series finale didnt feel authentic at all! This last finale felt more believable.
Notice how Megan's interview is from 2017, from the reboot's premiere press junket. The camera on her isn't moving like the one filming the rest of the cast. And she doesnt mention the series finale.
She was probably so mad at all of them she couldn't be bothered with this farewell interview.
I don't understand how the decision was made to end the reboot, but I believe there are still many more seasons left of the series. I believe that Debra is the reason that the show is over. I remember when it started, there were rumours that she didn't want to do it because of the money. Now we find out that Megan Mullaly is being bullied (her own admission in her podcast) and things have gotten sour. There is obviously something going on in the background and they know this is a goodbye because there is too much strife between the cast. What a shame. I wish they would do a spinoff with Jack and Karen. I can live without the Will and Grace characters, quite frankly.
I remember that rumour too, that the reboot almost didn't happen because allegedly she wanted more money... And yes, Megan always comes off as a very chill person, and I remember when the feud rumour first broke out, all the press were saying that Megan was a being a diva on set, and Debra was the one who stood up for the crew.. this whole narrative just sounds very fishy to me...
From what I recall the reboot was for only 3 seasons...and it's now the 3rd season.
Yes!!! Karen and Jack!
Me too. Karen and Jack were the best characters in this show.
I've heard that that Deborah didn't want to do it any longer she said it's enough it clear that she doesn't want to do another reboot and Megan I think they said that there was conflict behind-the-scenes but you never would know
I alredy Miss the show 😭😭😭😭
I think they should have left at the end of last season. When they had all found love. That would have been a great place to leave the characters.
Your right after rewatching Will & Grace from Season 1 to Season 8 that’s where it should have ended then and now.
Reviving show wasn’t working for me didn’t feel the same was missing that sparkle that made Will & Grace brilliant from early 90s to the 00s.
That’s my opinion.
Reclaiming Megan’s time! She should get her spinoff have Sean as her co-lead and they moved somewhere else away from Paul and Patty 😂
Would have been nice to hear the questions that were being answered.
Dam, shes had ALOT of work done. She looks sooo different. :/
She has gained baby weight. She used to be SO slender. Her makeup is flawless.
@@chipmunktubetop I'm aware she's had a baby. You can still tell she's had a lot of work done on her face. Which imo, she didn't need.
@@missycitty9478 No, she didn't.
@@chipmunktubetop Lmao. Yea, she did. A LOT.
She can barely smile. Its ok , some people just can't recognize the obvious.
Its all good. 👍
Anybody else thought that the finale felt like a regular episode? I was like, OK, next episode... Oh, wait, no. Still, LOVE the show. Just season 11 was the weakest for me.
The Megan Mullally interview is actually two years old! They added it here to mix it with her co stars interview but she didn’t do any new interview for the finale (guess she didn’t want to) ruclips.net/video/TnoYl2Uo3uw/видео.html
nice catch!
Debra ruined the show and caused it’s end I bet. Megan and Sean made the show.
Hey Brian Penny can you upload Extraction(2020) B-roll Footage please?
I loved some of the episodes in the reboot (specially in seasons 9 and 10) but overall there was something missing. Sitcoms feel dated now and the characters seemed different, specially Karen. Her personality was way too subdued to the point that the character was pointless in many episodes (perhaps to avoid offending the viewers?). Also, it's disappointing to know that it ended in such visibly tense circumstances due to things having gone sour among the cast members. And the finale itself felt emotionless. Sean Hayes saved the reboot, he was always brilliant. But it should have been limited to a single season.
why are questioned muted?
I honestly stopped watching midway through season 2 because ... it just wasn’t the same. Grace and Karen especially the chemistry could not be recreated. And Grace became Debra Messing ... it wasn’t like grace at all. For me this show ended back in season 7.
Hey Brian Penny can you upload Million Dollar Baby(2004) B-roll Footage if you can find some please?
lmao, they only give me access to new movies. I couldn't even give you something from 2019, much less 2004.
Brian Penny ok i understand.
Debra MESSing ruined this show and we ALLLLLL know it
Pikhafy Go amen. she's a mean girl. always has been. always will be.
Sorry to say but it’s only Debra among 4 who’s lost grasp of her character. She’s no longer the Grace we loved (and hated at times) from the original series. I really wonder why she couldn’t immerse herself back to Grace’s character.
TDS fkd her up
So glad they moved away from the political plot points. The first season became a little hard to watch because of it. I agreed with all of their points but still it felt super annoying to watch an hour of it.
Yeah, all of one episode.
I think there's something beautiful about will and grace going "We may never have the traditional life but we have eachother and that's enough"
Debra ruined the show and caused it’s end I bet. Megan and Sean made the show.
Maybe the new seasons lacks something but it was nice to see all them again. We need more Jack and Karen!
They could have done eight more years! I will miss it!
I'm sure Debra is the one who caused all the problems on set. Megan always comes across as a non-confrontational person, calm and mature.
Debra on the other hand has a touch of batshit in her eyes, always.
Just read her tweets....if she's that annoying on social media just imagine what she's like in person.
Why be such an ass. You don't know either person. Just be grateful for an amazing show that was so fun to watch and enjoy.
Yuck... I'm getting grossed out by Debra... the more I watch them the more I'm convinced it's her fault.
the best "re boot" of a show to date. will miss it.
Lol Karen and Jack 😂
Thanks, Brian. That was fun. Will & Grace hit on a few cultural issues in a much-needed, cosmopolitan way that was both critical and generous about the liberal, progressive mindset-- something we desperately need in today's divisive world. Gay conversion therapy, religious justification, surrogacy, bi-sexuality/gay tensions in the LGTBQ community, some of the trans political stuff. Even the names-- Will, Grace, Jack and Karen-- carry greater meaning in these times with them just being them-- especially, Karen, offering a solid, satirically egocentric, alternate conception of our present-day "Karens."
What strikes me most about this latest return is how nuanced it was with liberal issues, how subjects were treated with levity and smart satire, rather than heavy-handed wokeness. The wokeness is there-- especially, in Season 9 (glad they backed off of a lot of that from then on)-- and they're serious about it, but it's treated with a lightheartedness that moves past persuasion or posturing and into simple play. Too bad millions of conservatives likely didn't tune in; they'd've seen a modification of identity politics that might've changed their attitude towards it for being less militant, as happened with many hard-line liberals who took in that message.
Like "The West Wing," though, I imagine the average conservative wouldn't be able to get past the liberal leanings of the program's reputation to enjoy any of the material or humor, completely missing the satire and how much the show takes liberals to task for their ridiculousness and foibles. Could've provided a lot of healing and inclusive enjoyment for them if they had.
I love em all yet I can't take my eyes off the hard lipliner on debra messing top lip. Whoever did her lips should just never do that to anyone ever again. lol
Her over-arched eyebrows are scarily hillarious, but incredibly annoying, as I think Messing is in general.
why so little time on Megan in this interview?
Megan is glad to be gone, I'm afraid. She has been being bullied by members of the cast which has caused a lot of strife on the set. I believe Debra is most likely behind it.
I'm so glad they came back!
What is up with the audio in this video? Horrible!!!
I wish they would have done an episode of homophobia they did in certain ways but they never did like a special episode where maybe gay-bashing showing that it really happens because it still does to this day but I still think it's a funny show
No!!!!
Ugh Debra ruined everything. As always.
Debra's interview seems really forced and insencere imho
I find Debra to be forced and insincere.
A 50-year old woman having a baby is not funny. It’s dangerous and reckless.
Lucky it's a *TV SHOW* then.
jesus christ get a fucking life.
