A long overdue upgrade to a 4k/144hz monitor was just the excuse I needed to dive back into some Battlefield 5... but of course, the very first server I join has someone sitting in the corner of the map rage typing in chat all match. The Battlefield chat rage is BACK!

Just recently got into watching Dave cuz of his piloting videos, honestly didnt think he would upload another bfv video seeing as how the last bfv videos he had were years ago. Glad to see him playing it again
i wish everyone would come together to plead to dice and ea to complete this game, one final update, eastern front, 3-4 maps, couple weapons. bug fixes, removing the flieger from the game. just one final update seeing how 2042 failed
Honestly would be better considering EA/Dice effectively denied that 2042 exists by listing BFV as the most recent Battlefield game on their list of online games a few months ago

To this day I feel bad for the treatment that BFV had. We really have a gap for fps in WW2 for casual players, and we probably will not have any in some years
tbh. At it's time, it deserved the hate at some parts. It was a good game but it took waaay to long to deliver content. And the thing with the TTK f***up. NO.
But now. Looking at 2042... BFV did really good and is still doing good.
Not from EA certainly. They're too busy exploiting the sports franchises for cash and trying to focus-group their way into a big hit elsewhere.
@@them1nn3r totally agree with you! It was really bad, specially after success of BF1. And that's reinforces my point, we spent two decades without WW2 battlefield and 3-4 years with any WW2 casual shooter. And when the time came they just gave up.
In my opinion EA should make Battlefield series as a modern shooter and bring back Medal of Honor as a Historic shooter. Same engine, maybe even same mecanics but in differents themes

Back when BFV had released their entire pacific update I’d make videos on just playin. Sadly on ps4 so not even 1080 but those were fun times. Even then I still just play the pacific war sometimes

Battlefield has had this problem since ages past. No squad play or communication. Most of the time anyway.
Poor game design, as usual with Dice/EA. It can be done but it requires some work.
Problem is it seems most people aren't interested in teamplay anyway, no matter the tools available.

its a year late but what iv noticed about battlefield games people will Always complain about the tanks or planes or anything that isn't a guy with a gun i remember people whining about tanks and helis in Battlefield Vietnam and 2142 like come on...the whole thing is mixed combat

I was flying my P-51 Mustang at the start of a round with my 8 rockets and I get like 6 kills and a salty player thinks I'm hacking even though he clearly knows it was the start of the round and everyone was in one big clump of people.

I got back on after 6 months and it was like riding a bike. Shooting down pilots with my AA and winning dogfights…. And then the salty messages come back. I just want to play, I don’t want to be worried about telling people they suck.

I love when they whine about plane to plane killing. On the old BF42, many moons ago, they used to hate me because I could drop a plane with a bazooka, at almost any height.

Bf5 had so much potential
is it possible to link my battlefield 5 account on steam to my account on Xbox? like, for example, I play xbox mostly but dabble on pc. I want to have the plane upgrades i unlocked on the xbox be transferred to the pc without having to re-earn them. is this possible?
I think the big issue with vehicles in battlefield game is your entire game is built around a rapid TTK that rewards high risk plays, and vehicles are the antithesis of that, A tank can sit outside of effective bazooka range and just lob shells into a defensive line for a cap point and wipe an entire team without a viable means to scare them off, AT rifle is piss poor because you have to bipod it to use it and if the tank sees you trying to bipod, youre done as he can MG you down or shell you before you get through the bipod animation, The rocket launchers do laughable damage (10+ to kill a boat) and serve more as an annoyance to enemy armor than anything else.
The only weapons in the game that reliably ruin tanks are Mines (which can be avoided as well as require you to know where the tank will be in the future) or c4/dynamite/bombspear. (all three options require atleast two to kill a tank versus the 6-8 of the other options) which also require you to be at point blank with the tank and can also be thwarted before you even get to the tank.
Battlefield wouldnt be battlefield without armor, But armor is also cancer. If the game locked you into first person on the tank so you had to use the cupola and periodically do that do watch your flank rather than let you go third person and magically know when someone is behind you at all times, It would be more balanced. For some reason, infantry are locked to first person, but vehicles arent?

I really wish i could get into a server on xbox. Lately ive had to wait upwards of 45mins just to get into a match. Ive been trying to play on the global (asian,EU) Server but the amout of hacking is insane.

okay when do you play? my server browser is ALWAYS full of Japan and german servers. every time i search for ANY NA servers, it comes up empty.
Edit: I truly do think the backlash they got on this game helped shape the massacre that was 2042. I dont think people really understood what it is we had with BFV.

Not very good at these games, although I did buy BF V for the Xbox. Haven't played it for at least 2-3 years. Looks like there's some content been added that I haven't seen.
