9/18/23 UPDATE*: The Plano Balloon Festival is happy to announce a "High in the Texas Sky" Drone Show Friday & Saturday nights in replace of the traditional fireworks show due to the continued burn ban in Collin County.
    7. Consider Prime parking if you want to limit walking. Option two: Plano Event Center is a good offsite choice - it’s just a block from the entrance.
    8. The Kid’s Fun Zone is worthwhile, especially the inflatables and free Kids Korner.
    9. You can bring a picnic, but please support local vendors.
    10. Do not bring pets. Most dogs don’t enjoy the crowds, noises, and fireworks*.
    11. Best time to arrive is 5 pm - before the parachute team.
    12. Tethered rides are GREAT - bring cash, tickets are available on-site only. They are dependent on the weather, so keep that in mind.
