I would count the stitches at the bottom of the freed stocking stitch portion and the top of the freed ribbing portion. They might be the same and it is the ribbing itself that pulls it in. If there are more stitches in the stocking stitch portion (say, an extra 20 stitches) then I would would choose 20 evenly-spaced places where one ribbing stitch is worked together with two stocking stitches. Each time you want to do that place two stocking stitches on top of each other treat them as fi they are just one stitch. (It would be the same as knitting two together if you were knitting the sleeve from the top to the cuff). To make a nice finish you would need to decide whether you want the left stitch on top of the right (or the other way around) and keep that consistent all the way around.

How did you ease the fullness of the sleeve into the cuff? I expect that the sleeve is fuller as you go up the sleeve to the shorten the length.

I suppose, first you count the stitches, then you take 3 stitches instead of 2, everytime you need to decrease 🤔🤗 for the difference of stitches...
