I spent much of my 20s in and out of psych wards. It was the people I met in there where I truly understand what you meant by just a simple bit of encouragement or friendliness from someone went a long way. Not just for me, but how those people's days would change when I would sit and talk and laugh with them. Ever since, I approach all my interactions with the mind set that I love each person. It has placed people in my life that have been so generous and good that humbles me. I've been where you are, brother. Always approach a new person with already loving them in your heart.
Hey thanks for sharing @JAtkins1987, this is a really beautiful comment 🙇 Comments like these can help the world go round and bring a lot of light to the world! I feel this 🙇 God bless you doing that for yourself and others, I believe in you! You're one of the few people I've ever known who do that besides myself and you might be the only person I've known of to actually say it. I'm really glad to hear it's gone so well! You have my support and encouragement in persevering in that good resolve to see and love others in that way, it's not always easy! But I think this attitude and character is why we're here and part of being the awesome people/saints God made us to be!! Thank you kindly🙇I hope you're doing very well and thanks for tuning in! Much love and God be with you! Kyle
God be with you, as well. You're right to say it's not easy, and at times I find myself not being as charitable as I should. But I have found that I can forgive easier, and I don't hold resentment the way I used to. The healing I got from my mental issues helped me finally heal spiritually and convert to Catholicism. Frequent mass and confession are vital, and often the most difficult when working against your own internal struggles. But keep at it, especially when everything inside you tells you to give up
Hey @brendanalbertson9462, thanks for asking! I'm a Catholic living in Ontario, Canada, so I can attend any number of Catholic Churches! In particular, I have two main parishes, namely one (I'll keep the name private for now) that I consider as "my home parish!"... How about you?! (If you want to share, no pressure.) To my earlier answer however, I go to Church several times a week - upwards of 10 times! - to pray, go to Mass, and be with God (here I specifically mean the belief of being with Jesus fully present: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, in the Eucharist in the Catholic Church!!) and my friends/community, so I attend many Churches depending on what area I'm in, my schedule, and what day of the week it is!! I counted and it's 4 or 5 different Churches a week that I visit (explanation above 😂) on average! Much love and God bless, Kyle
Lol, you got it 😂 Thanks @darianbrowning1608 for your input! You're the first person to answer someone else's question about me on my own channel! - Which to be clear I think is pretty cool, I'm not not mad at all! 😂 Thanks again, much love and God bless! Kyle
@KyleAndrewFrancisOGrady May God Bless you, friend. I didn't answer to be rude, I answered because I've probably asked a hundred questions on different RUclips channels.. And I think you're the only one to ever reply to me.
Hey @darianbrowning1608, thank you kindly 🙇Good to hear from ya! Haha, no don't worry! I didn't think it was rude at all, like I said, I think it's pretty cool and it's flattering to have people doing that!😂 Oh right on, happy to reply! Thank you for commenting 🙇 Best, Kyle
