Also in her recent short story it is mentioned that Arator has gone against his father's approval and gotten two tattoos (like his mother). A dark dragon on one arm and a light dragon on the other. Shadow and Light, Void and Light, Alleria and Turalyon. I have a feeling he will play an important role as a balancing force, the child of light and shadow. Maybe the first ever Paladin who balances both cosmic forces.
I'm curious to see what's gonna happen with Arator in the future. He even got a void dragon tattoo on one of his arms, and another light dragon tattoo (symmetrical to the void-one) on his other arm, which is kinda cool
Xar , her son arathor is likely the prophesized child of light & shadow which will bring an end to the war between the two , likely to fight a common enemy. Like others said , Illidan is an example of a character that sacrificed everything even the good in him for the greater good & stayed true to himself. Alleria is the same , she'll probably be on the brink of insanity at some point but if I had to guess her son or her sister sylvanas will bring her back. All this said ,Xalatath seems to have Alleria at the center of her plans so who knows. Xalatath once showed Alleria terrible yet undeniable visions of her fate , but many theorize that the memories Xal showed weren't Alleria's but her own & that Xalatath = Alleria from a different timeline.
