Outstanding video of remote areas I will never see, thanks for sharing your exciting adventure. Having paddled the the first Dancers in 1982, progressing to numerous Dagger Freefalls, the Pyranha Karnali has been the very best yak I have paddled. Would have been cool to see a Karnali dropping into the continuous class 4 drops in the spectacular gorge. Excellent trip of a lifetime. Count your blessings.
Great video! I still recognize some rapids from my descent in 2000. I wish we’d had access to Go Pro’s and those kayaks in 2000 though. I paddled a loaded Eskimo Diablo down this! Love how the skills have developed over that time though.
Nice work! I did this trip in Nov 2017 so know how much work it is. Very impressive that you took the time to document it so well. Super interesting to see rapids looking different to my memory of them. Those himalayan rocks move around a lot!
Did this trip in 2000 as the 12th descent. Back then, we walked and hired porters to carry the boats down to the river from Simikot. Good to see progress!
