4:29 I called it the granola bar. I mained Fox and practiced an exclusive anti-camp playstyle just so I could beat my friend who spammed it. It actually worked very very well. Every other character was powerless to fight against it though.
Neat video and I think it's a pretty good list. My personal opinion is that a few characters could be slightly more polished not necessarily resprited like Goku/Ichigo such as: DK, Cap'n Falcon and Meta Knight. I also think it'd be cool if Marth got a front-facing idle animation, like how Lloyd's swords are different if he's facing the opposite direction from all animations and slash effects, which also brings me to say that the change in Lloyd's swords, effects and some animations from v0.9b to Beta like his up aerial, as well as giving his general sprite a more smashified colour pattern are cool changes but I'd say Lloyd could use a resprite. SSf2 should add a pineapple mode

As a peach main her respirate was really amazing her animations are pretty good her down smash is basically melee peach down smash and up throw is now a chain grab the new peach looks better in every way especially the la la la la la

I think it's due time that stages started getting resprites. Stages like sector z have really started showing their age. The tower of salvation one was amazing.
Chaos Shrine, Twilight Town, and Hidden Leaf Village all need updates. Also, Salvation is amazing but Yggdrasill has possibly the worst sprites in the whole game.
I think meta knight needs a respite, he kinda just looks like a gray-blue blob with wings and a sword. Would really like to see his features really defined in a new re-sprite, as well as some frame data changes to match those of his first smash appearance. (But seriously, one would be nice)
Yeah. Especially when you see him in the sora resprite trailer. Seeing the new slick sora with meta Knight and donkey Kong who honestly both have aged terribly is really jarring. And sector z could use a retouch
my top five, from lowest to highest, are mario, yoshi, kirby, ness and then peach. yoshi's resprite was indeed very good, the old yoshi didn't fit the game very well, like the old mario. kirby's side special and running animation got to be one of my favorites now that he's resprited. ness looks very cute now, he's more like the ness in the official smash games. pk flash and pk thunder look better compared to 1.1 and older. it makes the old ness look ew. lastly, peach. she has way better animations now, and her best animation got to be the down taunt. it's so smooth! she has more details on her dress and other stuff, and she's enjoyable to play with better sprites. in short, those are my opinions about these resprites, which are the best ones in my opinion. yes, i do play those characters.

Well they do keep some of the originality intact. Both mega man and wario are amalgamations of their 9b iterations mixed with the official title. Mega man still has his 9b up b, f tilt and wario has his unique side b. I too miss the wario down air spike days but what can u do
I'm not really good at playing as Sora (or any character in particular) but I do enjoy playing as him. Judging by the Sora mains' reactions on the new Sora, there's gonna be plenty of changes from the original Sora. This can make me enjoy playing as Sora more. It's like learning a new character. BTW, I love the resprite.
I really like the resprite of Tails. Also thank god they nerfed him, at least the fans know when they need to balance the top tiers (*COUGH COUGH JOKER COUGH*)
