Is there a way to unlock FPS AND open game in windowed boarderless mode? I currently use the Steam 'Launch Options' method to open the game in windowed boarderless so i can tab to my 2nd monitor while in-game
I tried using the fps_config.json file to do this but had no luck. Honestly, just use the fps unlocker to launch Genshin and then switch it to windowed once you've loaded into the game. I know it's a hassle, but I'm not sure there's another way. Try messing around more with the fps_config.json file generated in the same directory as the FPS unlocker---maybe there is a way to get that to work.
My game is crashing everytime i launch and the game wont even go past the starting logo and gets stuck in a white screen. I even closed the fps unlocker completely and still the game crashes. I click on repair files in genshin launcher and the whole game files are redownloading again! is there a fix for this crashes ? Thanks in advance
they can but for some reason they probably just let it run cuz they will never officially add 120fps+ option for pc cuz of their stupid deal with apple, this is a lil salvation for pc gamers so that mihoyo wont receive too many negative feedbacks on players not adding 120fps on pc
It depends on what kind of monitor you're using. I use a 120hz monitor when I used the unlocker fps only goes up to 90 when playing like normal in the open world but still feels so smooth the difference between stock 60fps and unlock 90fps is huge
Can someone tell me, here I have a monitor with a refresh rate of 165hz. And when I play this game with fps locked at 60 with vsync active it doesn't look smoother than 60hz when i switching refresh rate.

Technically speaking, yes, but they won't actually take action, not only it's undetectable but they unofficially let that tool work as they could have banned all the people who use this long time ago yet they didn't.

i had this issue once, i just downloaded the game from "epic games" instead of the genshin site. that fixed it for me
