Hes got a point. London area is the richest area in Northern Europe, but conversely the 10 most impoverished areas in Northern Europe are all in the North of England - making these areas in terms of GDP per capita, on par with the likes of Slovakia, Serbia and Mississippi in the US. Westminster took in the money and refused to redistribute it. Its nothing short of disgraceful what they've done.

Spot on . I recently met up with a couple of my London friends who shocked me by saying that they thought the Conservatives had done a pretty good job of keeping the economy in a good place. They were stunned when I educated them on how most of the North of England and places like Stoke-on-Trent where I come from, have been forgotten, left behind, ignored, and have suffered austerity since Maggie Thatcher closed down most of the industrial homelands in the 1980s. I told my friends straight, if you live in London then you receive the benefit of investment and a share of the wealth of this country. But if you live outside of London then you’re stuffed.

Austerity because we are giving all our money away we are not the purse of the world. Trying to shame people of the empire's past but forgetting all the good it did.

He's a bit up his own pipe Clive, but he's a lot cleverer than he's given credit for. He's spot on here.

Amen This guy needs to be in government, Can you imagine this practical answer to solve the current crisis: This begs the question, " is this mistreatment and chaos intentional?" i.e. is this situation one that keeps the power at the top?

Agree in part, Clive, but nevertheless, there were Munters last night still saying "...we're full.."
With whom? Gammons it would seem that in some cases can't even write 'England' on a wall.
Isn't there anywhere we can encourage these people to be migrants to - and take more educated socialised people from in return?
