Steven, Io tried to shoot more footage today and I am still not getting good audio. All i get is exhaust sound. I have tried different mics, recorders, and recording apps on my phone. You have a loud bike and no windshield, how do you do it? Do you have a go pro with mic adapter or other recording device?
@@StevyFaux I would have gotten the black, but got the Silver as a gift. I am trying to sort out how to record audio separately, but may need to try and sell the silver to get a black if I can't work it out.

Sony mic and new recording software did the trick. now I have a corrupted SD card and lost a week of shooting. More to come...

MNMoto I use a hero 7 black, gopro mic adapter and two purple panda mics

MNMoto does the silver have a spot to put a mic adapter? Maybe just try the purple panda mic with your recorder?
