You know what im an architecture student, and when i was a bit younger i love old architectural buildings, old places and unique sense of fashion , i truly love everything.. #sooomuchhloveee
I guess Covid really changed how traveling operates now. There is almost a forebodings ng sense of tension that something might go wrong esp in airports and you just can’t have that easy cruisy traveling vibe anymore. Thank you Arline and have a lovely day.
@@inkarlcerating Unfortunately fear permeates the atmosphere, so we have to put extra energy into counteracting it. I look forward to hearing how y'all made it through.
Yes! Berlin is a scary place for sure. And the most expensive when comes to high end shopping. I only travel there for art exhibitions. You both look gorgeous imo,but as sensitive artists, you picked up on the peculiar" vibe there😅👍. What a cliffhanger! Been a storm here,so just got bits and pieces of premiere. Unstable internet, but that INTRO!🤩 So in tuned to the places you go,wow.
I hope I didnt offend Berliners. When I said that I wanted to explain how as a foreigner, the signs, how words were written, the vibe feels like we are definitely in a different world. But scary doesn’t completely mean negative. Thank you. and yes we wanted to not look like a tourist and a local either. Please the upcoming vlogs will be more fun and more eventful than this one. Have a lovely day❤
@@inkarlcerating thank You for reply. Yes,I love the city, but always have a guard with me there. That's not needed so much in Paris 😄. Very inspiring to me,Berlin. First time felt like I knew the place, like,no problem to find out places and such. Rendezvous feeling about everyday.😱 ALOT of artists there. So glad You got to see the place, and lived to tell😅.
Your black hair looks fabulous. It really does. You have just gotten used to seeing yourself with blonde hair, so it does not feel right just yet. Maybe grow it a little longer or put some more layers into it, and play around with the texture
Whenever I see myself in the mirror and see the black hair in the morning, I feel that off but then I remember you always telling me how it looks good. It helps! Thank you haha
@@inkarlcerating You're welcome. It is so funny how much hair affects the way we look, and how we see ourselves. I finally FINALLY found someone who listens to me, and actually cuts hair well. Anyway, hang in with it for a while and play with it.
Oh dear .. all the places i frequent when in Berlin .. I lived there a year and it’s a tough city .. people Compare it to London but trust me Germans can be very difficult with everything creative to say it nice.. I always prefer London or Paris , you can dress and be creative and hardly anyone pays attention .. Berlin can be very nice when you know where to go .. KaDeWe is really just a wannabe Harrods .. I always go to murkudis for Rock Owens and Berghain to party .. the rest is .. well it’s a german city lol And I agree .. what a cliffhanger!!?!?? Hope you guys are back safe and sound .. give Larrend a hug 🤗
Tough! that’s the word. I guess that’s why people dress up in a way that projects toughness ( most men have earrings and hardware accessories, women wear edgy boots etc) so it does make sense. But in all honesty, the people we have interacted have that warmth and welcoming attitude considering it’s a city. Cities can be cutthroat at times but we didnt feel like an outsider. When you mentioned Murkudis, I was glad because we accidentally discovered the store. ❤❤ Regarding the train catastrophe, I guess it’s safe to say we have unlocked a new tourist nightmare this time haha
KARL! I only just happened across your channel. I am an (international) Berlin resident, I wish I had known your channel I would have beed delighted to take you and your partner around. Unfortunately you saw only a few of the most heavily touristed spots, quite conservative (including the neighborhood of your accommodation). Berlin is not a fashion hub but there are shops worth seeing. As for your milk miss- again this is because you were in conservative districts. Berlin is full of vegan, vegetarian, specialty roasters etc. A design shop full of items which suit your sensibilities is Darklands. One which unfortunately did not survive covid was OUKUN, but its gorgeous space has been remade into a magnificent restaurant inspired by Shojin Ryori (Japanese Temple cuisine). A magnificent dressmaker, Isabel Vollrath, not necessarily your style, but worth seeing has a shop on Linienstr. If you come back again please feel free to let me know. You can dm me on twitter @resistancenomad. I also spent a decade in Tokyo so can offer advice about that city’s world leading fashion scene. Best to you and thanks for sharing.
Hello Sasha! That is so sweet of you! Thanks for watching. I know , see when we were planning this trip we didnt delve deep. We just pretty much flew our asses to Europe with no concrete plan because we were so busy with our jobs etc that researching was too much. Bad move tho because we have missed out on a lot. Next time we will definitely reach out to people and friends! Wait for my part 2 vlog because we had more activities for the second part. 👽😻

True but also fortunately they are still selective who goes in .
