They have a cute, fresh and retro/classic sound. Then the next 3 members make odd eye circle- they have a more modern, western influenced sound. The final 4 members make yyxy and they combine the 2. The reason for the music choices are also related to the lore as well.

as someone who pretty recently also went through watching all their solo + subunit mvs (but the title tracks only at the time) it makes me excited seeing your reactions, your view and theories on the lore. something what really helped me out with understanding the lore was reading the most popular theories or watching videos explaining those theories. so i recommend to try that and maybe later come back to watching the music videos and see the connection between videos and maybe notice something you have missed before - it’s really fun. as someone already mentioned in the comments, watching the teasers is really helpful as well. spoiler/recommendation for when you watch “new” by yves, at the end of the video focus your attention on the bottom left of the screen.. that will make your theories wilder ahahaha. and later you can check out their japanese debut “hula hoop” which is kind of like a review of the loonaverse and stuff. :) anywho, thank you so much for giving a chance to our moon girls

As long as it's not stated by BCC, their 'powers' aren't official like their representative animals, colors or even things like countries, fruits, emotions and flowers. Maybe check out Loominosity's video called Loonaverse Basics 2, they maybe explain better what Im trying to say

since every orbit aknowledge the existence of these powers i don't really see the problem here, the majority of the lore is put together by orbits anyway so i don't really see the problem here

I recentally got aquanted with the loonaverse as well but watching you two on the journey of understanding it is so interesting - and you're so funny as well. This commentary has me wheezing XD I think it is important to watch it in order but don't stress too much - if you miss bits its fine to go back and fill in the gaps since some of the stuff jumps around the timeline anyway. Even overall the loonaverse thoeries are are just that - theories - so its ok if you don't get all of it in exactly the order its intended it should all still make sense : )

Apart from the obvious cat heads, the lyrics are about always surrounding someone you love, but never being taken seriously and consequently never entering a romantic relationship. This parallels how a cat will follow someone around, but never be on the same level as a human. Also, there is an unreleased MV for "See Saw" the B-Side from Gowon's solo debut, which showed her and Chuu making the bracelet seen in the MV for Around You. ~~ More info you might be interested in ~~ There are three worlds in the Loonaverse, each sub-unit corresponding to one. Blue and goldfish 😭 Actually she's a blue betta a.k.a a Siamese fighting fish, it's her representative animal The goldfish on the tanks are like all the other people of the world If you wanna know more about her in the lore, just google a blue betta's habitat and things like that Knowing some of their representative animal's habitat, diet, traits, connection to myths, facts and overall ecology will help you guys understand their characters better too. as someone who pretty recently also went through watching all their solo + subunit mvs (but the title tracks only at the time) it makes me excited seeing your reactions, your view and theories on the lore. something what really helped me out with understanding the lore was reading the most popular theories or watching videos explaining those theories. so i recommend to try that and maybe later come back to watching the music videos and see the connection between videos and maybe notice something you have missed before - it’s really fun. as someone already mentioned in the comments, watching the teasers is really helpful as well. spoiler/recommendation for when you watch “new” by yves, at the end of the video focus your attention on the bottom left of the screen.. that will make your theories wilder ahahaha. and later you can check out their japanese debut “hula hoop” which is kind of like a review of the loonaverse and stuff. :)

You might as well add then that Yves can control water and Haseul can control fire cus they did something that looked like it in PTT, or Go won being able to create hurricanes like in why not. As long as it's not stated by BCC, their 'powers' aren't official like their representative animals, colors or even things like countries, fruits, emotions and flowers.

since every orbit aknowledge the existence of these powers i don't really see the problem here, the majority of the lore is put together by orbits anyway so i don't really see the problem here

really love how you picked out that the girls are running to "open the new world"... the predebuts leading up to the official debut were part of a larger storyline where the 12 girls try to meet/unite to form the larger unit as Loona. also really poetic when you linked sonatine to small sonata and then associated with moonlight sonata, really fits in with how Loona has moon references all over (luna, eclipse, orbit, cyclical patterns etc) and Loona 1/3 is a sub-unit of Loona.
also yes Love&Live and Sonatine had sections that were filmed in Hong Kong. some other MVs were also filmed outside S Korea e.g. Around You (Japan), Let me in (Iceland), So What (Thailand), Girl Front (LA)

I recentally got aquanted with the loonaverse as well but watching you two on the journey of understanding it is so interesting - and you're so funny as well. This commentary has me wheezing XD I think it is important to watch it in order but don't stress too much - if you miss bits its fine to go back and fill in the gaps since some of the stuff jumps around the timeline anyway. Even overall the loonaverse thoeries are are just that - theories - so its ok if you don't get all of it in exactly the order its intended it should all still make sense : )

Hyunjin's MV and song are related to her animal, the cat. Apart from the obvious cat heads, the lyrics are about always surrounding someone you love, but never being taken seriously and consequently never entering a romantic relationship. This parallels how a cat will follow someone around, but never be on the same level as a human. Also, there is an unreleased MV for "See Saw" the B-Side from Gowon's solo debut, which showed her and Chuu making the bracelet seen in the MV for Around You.

There are three worlds in the Loonaverse, each sub-unit corresponding to one. Some members are speculated-some confirmed-to have come from another world. Keep this in mind when watching Love Cherry Motion. :) Their main goal (until Hi High) is to unite all 12 members.
Also, each member from Odd Eye Circle, the second sub-unit, has a superpower. They are clearer in Love Cherry Motion and Girl Front MVs.
The only members that have a representative fruit are Choerry and the yyxy members. The Loona 1/3 members and Yeojin have representative locations, but as far as I'm aware it has nothing to do with the Loonaverse and is more of an easter egg.

If you wanna know more about her in the lore, just google a blue betta's habitat and things like that
Knowing some of their representative animal's habitat, diet, traits, connection to myths, facts and overall ecology will help you guys understand their characters better too.
Their representative colors makes sense only if you know the color theory or be interested enough to have a crash course on the theory, if not, just think of it as an easy way to identify them and their presence in the storyline like their animals lol
(basically, it gives an overview of how they are connect/interact)
Oh and the five members who have representative fruits and why will be shown in the mvs itself, so i won't mention that
OEC members have superpowers or odd eye powers, which hopefully you'll understand what they are, why and how they have it

Everything up to 1/3 mvs will only make sense and you'll get the story wholly only after the very last solo mv so, i suggest you rewatch them one more time to make those connections to really get their storyline in your free time.
Like, all these is just the surface but it'll help you understand and enjoy the mv better, coz well, the deep dive into the LOONAverse is kinda....overwhelming especially if you don't have time to invest yourself in it. But just learning that much and watching the mvs is already fun enough. There's no correct lore/theory so feel free to theorized it in your own perspective.
