One key takeaway that I have from this mini series is how much Kev and Melissa relate to each and every couple. They are so different yet there is so much the same in each marriage. That’s something to notice.

I've seen AC in pics but never really looked at her for longer than a moment, she's GORGEOUS!!! I see why Spicy had to lock her down. I also appreciate how she said she doesn't get to attached to things but keeps the main thing the main thing and that is their love for one another and their family.
This series is so dope! The diversity in the couples and their marriage experience is such a nice well-rounded representation of the journey of marriage. The best takeaway I hope people get Marriage is Hard but worth it when it's with the right (not perfect) person!!!

My misconception of Spice and AC is she’s as outlandish as Spice and she’s the exact opposite. She’s calm, low key, and soft spoken. Beautiful couple.
I just wanna say I went to church with AC growing up. Hadn’t seen her in a good 25 years or so, but she looks exactly the same! Glad to see her getting a lot of love in here. Always remembered her being a bit quiet but super chill and super cool, and it appears she hasn’t changed one bit.

I feel like it’s a personal decision. I can’t speak from experience because I don’t have any notable letters behind my name, but I feel like if you honestly don’t mind someone not addressing you by a professional title, then that should be ok. You are a human being before you are a professional being. However, of course I will always refer to someone as they’ve asked or introduced themselves. Now if you’ve made your desire clear and people ignore it, big problem.
Whew! I felt seen when AC and Liss talked about needing a couple days to process my feelings. My partner used to hate that, but I explained the why and he had to accept it. I cannot address it in the moment, because I will choose violence every time. PTL I am not alone!
Whew YES! We’ve had to work through that, but after almost 9 years of marriage, I think we got it.

This is random but speaking of dropping off kids, my friend is a teacher and he said that the students that perform the best in his class are the ones where they have parents drop off and pick up

I love this series but this particular couple was just blah for me... didn't give us a lot of specifics but they seem like a lovely couple.....kev and melissa had to take control and pull every conversation out of them....
If more of us sisters were as supportive as AC there would be a lot less miserable marriages and less divorces.
