@@alsomapal haha, for sure. I've been running for a few years now, not marathon level or anything, but I've definitely learned something At first, I was over obsessive about my time for each mile, so I'd run super-fast and exhaust my energy and not be able to go above like 2-mile runs. I think what's more important is to stay in your zone level, where you're able to run longer distances and not exhaust yourself out. And then I think that being faster for each mile should come after. So basically, run at the level you feel comfortable, even if it's 10+ minutes per mile. This way, you can start running longer distances, like above 5+ miles way easier, and then your time will get better from there as you build up the endurance. Also form + breath control is something I should've gotten into more when I first started. Being in control of your breathing will increase your endurance a substantial amount. Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth super important, if it's hard to do this, it probably means you're going a little too hard (which is okay, if you're trying to be fast + run shorter distances) Also try and stay as steady as possible. Run with your back straight, like there's a rope pulling you from above keeping you straight. Letting your body be loose/slouch will give up extra energy that you don't need to be giving up Good luck! Running has helped me so much in my life
I’ve tried being super stringent on my form but man it’s hard trying to run slow LOL that’s definitely something I need to get better at! Hoping to possibly do a marathon later this year but first I gotta be able to run longer. Furthest I’ve done is 6 miles and it was TOUGH
@@alsomapal yea at first it was also hard for me to slow down for some reason, but once I started I was able to go for so much longer, and get a better workout. I think it’s called staying in your zone 2, but I’m not too good on the technicals. But you’ll enter this flow state where you’re running super long distances and feel like you can run forever. This really helped me get faster and build up my endurance a ton. 6 miles is awesome, it took me a while to reach that. I’m gonna try my first marathon sometime soon hopefully as well, but I gotta train a bit more haha Good luck!
Really a great video.... inspired me to start what I'm thinking from lot of time.. can you help me that how you edited this phone recording audio which sounds like a proper studio audio loved the visuals
