Yes, that is true. I remember once at work this white woman asked us, we were 3 black women if we would marry a white man. We said no, she asked for reasons why we wouldn't, one that prefers black men, the other said that she just couldn't marry out of her race and I said I just loved black men. This was 10 years ago. It really bothered her. If it was now as woke as I am I would have said that they are the only ones that can protect me in any situation and that I want my kids to look exactly like me.

Yes, that is true. I remember once at work this white woman asked us, we were 3 black women if we would marry a white man. We said no, she asked for reasons why we wouldn't, one that prefers black men, the other said that she just couldn't marry out of her race and I said I just loved black men. This was 10 years ago. It really bothered her. If it was now as woke as I am I would have said that they are the only ones that can protect me in any situation and that I want my kids to look exactly like me.

This brother is speaking unadulterated truth. See, i knew this. They really hate to see black on black love. White women especially feel like they should have 1st call on a black man. I've noticed this close up and personal. My bf and I went to an "exclusive club" and ALL the mixed couples stared at us like we were a rarity! It hurt so bad. Didn't help that the bm I was with didn't get the dynamic of us being the only black on black couple... He was used to white women, u see. Dear black women : Whatever a do... DON'T EVER FALL FOR A GUY THAT'S WW CENTRIC/BEEN WW CENTRIC. Just don't, because the emotional violence it will cause u is terrible. Ignore my advice at your peril.

Thank you for even noticing. The thing that I am tripping about now that one of my students shared with me is "blackfishing"". Now, they are changing themselves for profit to look like black women by spraying darker tan on their skin so they will look like a black woman. They want to be esteemed as the best, but really there is so much envy of our features, culture, hair, and men.
