Fellow 2A user here. I am loving it so far and have "Nothing" but great things to say about it. One thing I wish that Nothing did implement in their mobile phones is having the glyph lights go off when your alarm clock is ringing, and have it with the backside up.
Still using my Nothing Phone(1), with last Nothing update...i really enjoy this phone. Using a SD778G+ was really smart. I don't use Glyphs but Nothing OS, in general, is great.
To answer the Tea time question: I use mellow tracks from video games as a means of unwinding. Ambiance/environmental tracks that can be a bit more serene. It’s hard to unplug every now and again, feeling like you always have to be on. But it’s nice to just take a breather even for a short while.
"don't spill the water" comes from the main char of Initial D driving his 86 with a cup of water in the cup holder. He had to drive with that cup of water full and he couldn't spill the water
The Phone 2a looks great, this is a winner. Thank you Nothing for making devices fun again. Nothinh just needs to officially be released in the US. I love the entire package. Nothing isn't bombarding connsumets with too much unnecessary things. What you get is what you need and what works. I hope we treated you well here in Louisville.

A very good looking phone with good software and a decent-ish camera at that low price point. Love it. I dig the black color, but think I would prefer the white one.

Someone I watched from 7-8 years ago on RUclips when I was deep into tech and i found a channel that takes tech down to earth. Genuinely warms my heart to see the path you've taken. Thanks for all your work, and all your mindfulness Jashua.
The praises vloggers have for Nothing's phones are uncannily similar to what was being said about OnePlus when they started. Now, OP has become one of those expensive lines that are now out of touch for the masses. I can't blame them. That's the natural direction for companies that want to stay alive. You become successful when you start out because you innovate. You earn through that success. You become bigger and need to hire more people to innovate more. Pretty soon, youre churning out killer phones that have become as expensive as flagships amd lose your identity as the affordable phone of the masses. It's sad to think Nothing will inevitably end up like this one day. The bright side? The next Nothing company will hopefully be out by then too.
Ive bought all of Nothings products apart from ear stick and neckband pro. I absolutely love what ive got, apart from the watch. It sucks really bad. To say they get it so right with 2/2a and all the audio buds is crazy when you compare it to the watch. I get that its cheap, but its just plain bad. I say this because the phone 2a and the CMF buds which are the cheapest offerings in their categories are fantastic. But then you have the watch that really feels unfinished, especially with its companion app. But the phone 2a really does shine. Its just plain simple awesome for the money. The watch pro on the other hand....... Maybe not so much!
tea time answer for me: throughout the day, i like to take an incremental break by throwing on Lofi Girl's livestreams and rest my eyes for a few minutes. It's a nice break from life and my phone! if i need a break at night from overthinking, i like to stargaze and play some music from Interstellar or Man of Steel while I look for constellations! Definitely decompressing to say the least!
Daaang looking at your front cam vlogging shots, I must say, Nothing gives everything for this price range. Like you'd mistaken the camera quality to an iPhone if you remove the label that this is a front facing camera of a midrange phone of Nothing. What a killer! 🎉
It's not something if it's not in the States. Very frustrating! And, no, I'm not going to jump through developer hoops to get one. Just about done hoping Nothing shows some love here 🫤 ps 8-bit sounds ROCK. Surprised that's not the default for this line, esp with code names like Pac-Man & Tetris.

The problem is the lack of 5G compatibility particularly on Verizon. If you have T-Mobile this is a killer phone.
No go on ATT as well but T-Mobile is good to go !

Nothing phone (2a) is nice, but i really find it to be super overhyped product or products in the tech space.

My rule of thumb is... No pay more than USD 399 in a cell phone and not pay more than USD 1499 in laptops, more is breaking the price/features ratio.
