    So I purchased a u50-T today and came to RUclips and this video was posted yesterday.. I’m starting to think this channel is directly linked to my bank account

    I have the all black U50 S version. It is probably my favorite watch ever. It is right there with my Sea-Dweller, but this is more comfortable so it probably wins. He is right about the silky finish. I know my black version has a silkiness to it. It doesn’t stick to your skin.
    I have had mine 8 months. I wear it either all day or part of everyday. Not a scratch on it due to Sinn’s hardening.
    I wear mine on an authentic Isofrane. They are the best rubber straps in my opinion. I started with swatches at 13, first Rolex at 17, and am now in my 50’s. I have never had a better strap than Isofrane. I just love the U50.

    These are killer. If the Tudor BB58 wasn’t ever created, then this u50 would probably be on my wrist instead. I also wear the Sinn 556i as my other daily. Keep up the great work!

    I’m still holding out for a blue U50, and hopeful for 2022! I have the Tudor BB58 Blue and will be selling as soon as Sinn release a blue U50! 🤞😑
    Great review, love the light play segment.

    Great review. I have this watch. My first diver was a Rolex Sea Dweller. The difference? This watch looks like it was designed by engineers. The Rolex looks like it was designed by a jewelry store. Sinn is superb.

    Good review. Could have mentioned the fact that it’s made from submarine steel and that the Sellita SW-300 usually runs within chronometer specs.

    Love the U50 T. Rewatching your review to appreciate what i have instead of window shopping the next piece. I particularly love the Bahause styling (very Germanic design indeed as u said). Greatly engineered too considering how thin it is and still 500 m! Nice review.

    I love mine, my favorite watch. I’m a big fan of Sinn in general, their watches are premium tools that just resonate with me.
    They have an X factor that not all other watches have, that makes them better than the sum of its parts.
    Also, time keeping is superb. Mine gains a second per week.

    Tried on this watch last year, was so close to buying this… then my AD surprised me by giving me a call to inform me that I got the allocation for a Rolex Submariner 124060 and Tudor Pelagos FXD.
    Already have the Sinn 103 sa BE and 856 S UTC, if l hadn’t got the call for the 2 watches, l would’ve added the U50 to my collection!

    This watch is almost perfect. I said almost because the clasp of the bracelet looks really el cheapo. But the clasp on the silicone bracelet looks so much better.

      Can attest. I have a Seiko monster with a 120. Why would you want so many positions? I feel like it's mostly down to "bigger number better" marketing, not sure why you'd want anything but 60 though

    • @69fastfurious
      @69fastfurious 2 года назад

      Whoooooo have to say 2/3 years ago everybody was asking for a 120 clicks bezel’s now 60 clicks is super!? Why because 120 clicks is pointless plus the bezel is very difficult to align plus only if it’s a very expensive well done brand you don’t have that problem! Since I’ve some watch’s the 120 clicks are bad compared to my Longines, Certina watch’s then my Squale 50 Atmos 120 clicks play back and not stiff like my other watches ( Sinn 104 , or even a Citizen Promaster version in Titanium etc.) that Sinn U50 is a very cool piece but in my opinion should be 2 k not all the price they ask for ! Specially today’s market dropping off prices for and big hype for thousands of money for a watch ! By the way congratulations for your Sinn U50 beat blasted tegimented with bracelet my favourite watch sure y the way you’ve choose wise instead buying the black version they do scratch even tegiment ! All the best with your Sinn in Submarine Steel and very accurate movement, my 104 black dial with index’s is very cool and waiting for a 105 UTC in a beat blasted bracelet 330-2 Sellita movement very nice for my humble collection! All the best

  • @LeftyFox2
    @LeftyFox2 5 месяцев назад

    Watchbuys told me it has 42 hours power reserve because Sinn lists the movement as 300-1 and not 300-2. Do you know where you found the 56 hour power reserve data? I would like to get one but not if the watch still only has 42 hours power reserve.

    The EZM3 is better designed 500m diver. It has a 9 o'clock crown, comes with the three Ar-Dehumidifying Technology elements of drying capsule, EDR seals and protective gas filling. But it's not tagimented.

    Been really liking Sinn stuff lately. Been wanting a 556a rs, and now want one of these too! I will say the one thing I don’t like that Sinn does is the double ar coating. I get it really makes the crystal disappear, but it annoys me that they put a layer of material that scratches easier than sapphire ON TOP of the sapphire. At that point the sapphire isn’t even a feature

    I cannot pay over 3k for a watch that doesn’t have an on-the-fly micro adjustment. The reviewer’s claim that he would rather have the technology in the watch than the bracelet suggests the manufacturer can only do one or the other and not both. That is silly! I use macro adjustments regularly - sometimes at work - and pulling out the toolbar every time is not convenient and just doesn’t cut it on a $3,000 plus watch.

    This watch would be perfect apart from the clasp. Sinn really shouldn't be putting that on a 3k watch.

    • @AverageBros
      @AverageBros  2 года назад

      Well, ergonomically it's just about perfect, so in terms of functional form factor it nails the assignment. Not being over thick of complex can be a touch underappreciated these days. This isn't meant to be Sinn's kitchen sink offering, it's meant to be trim and tailored while balancing a nice punch of capabilities. Would I like a more feature rich clasp? Absolutely, but I have yet to see an option that would flow better in the place of this one, so it wasn't a deal breaker for me.
