This made me laugh because of MLS, smile because of the memories it brought back and cry because Daddy would’ve loved this one 😀😀🥲 Thanks Nathan and Mike for helping out my brother!
Anytime Karen. I’m just glad we were home to help.
@@nathanmcvay6893 That was awesome that you came out to help! I wish more of us felt the need to help others in need! 👍
Thank you for this video.. My grandpaw gave one just like this when I was 17. He had put a 340 Buick motor in it. I started fixing it and our shop burned down with it inside. I cried like a baby...
I would have cried too!
That was the good thing about living in the back country here in SC. My 75 Fury ran outta gas and I could barely move it. 6 people actually pulled over and helped me out. Took all of them to get the car moving. Lol. I so appreciated their help, and they refused any money for their help. Good good people.
Looking forward to seeing more of this! These old vehicles need driving not just parking up to rot. Thanks for sharing.
names is my drew sigrst yours names
You got the HEI and that put you way ahead of the game.
Man what a cool truck and back where she belongs on the road love it cheers 🍻 from mark from AUS 🇦🇺
Love seeing this old Chevy "come back to life", you have a classic there. Those tires and rims really do add class to your ol girl. Thanks for sharing - looking forward on what will be done.. Brad { lover of old trucks) frm Vernon B.C. Canada
I love this truck! Hopefully, we'll see a lot more of it.
Looking pretty good. Glad to see it back running andbon the road.
Felt so bad about rolling through a 4-way stop that you turned around and tried it from a different direction! 😂
j/k, best of luck with this one. After watching you tear down a horse barn (almost completely by yourself), I have no doubt that you'll figure out the issues with this project. 😉
I wish you the best and look forward to more videos!
I love that truck - I love that truck - I love that truck!!!!! Chad, you just saying the words, "First thing I gotta do is get some fuel, she's runnin' on fumes," that ole girl was listening. I laughed and laughed out of appreciation that it's not just me with that kind of luck. Sir, I've watched through about half your videos so far, back to back to back and man they are enjoyable and I am learning so much. I appreciate you, your videos and your way of thinking. Just simple, don't waste nothing kind of attitude. Let's get those old buggies runnin' and show those youngsters that old don't mean dead! I look forward to the other half of your latest videos. You're a bright light in this somewhat dark lookin' world these days. Great Job Chad, I'm glad I found your videos.
Preshate that. 👍
Restore the flames! Great bones to start with, not too rusty and runs fine. Get ‘er done and drive it up here to Alaska and help me with my 50 plus classics. Good luck

First time I've seen your channel but I thoroughly enjoyed watching you get the old girl up and running.. Brings back lots of memories of old stuff I had.. Will b looking for the next video on your truck.. Thx for taking us along for the ride.. Take care my friend..
It’s a good thing you are not doing experimental airplanes. Love the old truck. Years ago I bought an all original 1954 that had never been touched with 62,000 miles. The guys brother bought it new and it ran drove perfectly. $1000 I paid for it in 1989. It was a five window. The guy I sold it to in Winston Salem did a refurbish-restoration and paint and sold it for $15,000. The park brakes were amazing in their build and through the frame levers.
Good tunes. Good Video. Thanks for the watch.
When I was a young man I had a 66 impala ss with I think the same motor. From the factory it had 300 hp and came with a carter afb(aluminum four barrel) That is if it has double hump heads. Of course being young and crazy, I put a Holley 600 vacuum secondary and Black Jack headers. Lol I had a blast . Those bullet mufflers sounded so good. Great video my man, love the truck.
Loving the content. Actually ran across your channel from my RUclips feed. Keep up the great work!
Thanks a bunch. Preshate it!

Love the old truck. Acting like fuel issues. Had an old Jimmy 2500 that played the same game. Discovered a filter um the cab that I didn't know about. The truck was a 70 ..it had sat for many years before I had bought it. Missing it 22 yrs later. Good luck with your truck.
Man oh Man what an awesome truck this is ... .I love these old ones.. reminds me of the old days where you could buy something like this from the Men's Section, not these new Unisex trucks they make now...
Thanks for sharing those wonderful memories you have of working on the truck with your dad.

I wish I would have bought one of these old trucks when I was younger. I really like the flames and patina, some people don't get the patina look. Really like this one and the old 1965 C10 you got running a lot as well. Two of my favorite truck styles.
It’s a lovely truck that. Lovely that you still have something you and your dad built.
That ole truck be fast whilst driving home! lol

Heck yeah. Struggles are sometimes hidden blessings tht just haven’t shown there selfs yet. Nice oldie but goodie.
My Dad's father passed away suddenly in 48 and he had to take over the farm, His Uncle Ralph was asked by Granny to help Dad learn how to farm. Ralph had a truck like that green with a Ohoogha Horn that he could feather so he could call the cows in at night. He was funny as hell and stayed with for many years. He would stop by and ask how much rain we got and when Dad was going to cultivate the beans. I asked about his truck when i was 14 but he said his grandson had already asked for it. It was a great old truck. My other granddad had a 47 Ford Flathead V8 but my other Uncle took it. I always thought a good old truck would a great weekend cruise and hauler. This is a nice one to clean up. Old 327 is a great motor too. Have fun. Dennis in Virginia

NICE engine for this truck! Cool!
I once had to choose between a tree and a telephone pole as I was approaching a stop sign leading to main street in my hometown in KY. I chose the tree.
I was going to complain about the brake dust on that poor s10 but saw you cleaned it halfway through the video lol
Love the truck 👍

My dream, or one of them, is to build a 3100 Hot Rod Truck. I can't make up my mind to go full Custom or Rat Rod.
This one in the video would make a damn nice Rat Rod. A little TLC and she will be show ready. Maybe some power steering and power brakes.
very nice chevrolet runs is the most important
