He didn't cheat...he did resent her in the beginning though because he was lied to of course by the scheming evil witch, but then he fell in love with her.....the evil witch put a divorce agreement in his pocket and the FL thought that he was the one that wanted a divorce, but he didn't...the frustrating thing is that his grandfather knew that it was the FL who saved him when he was young, not the scheming evil witch who took the credit for it...
