In mario kart 7 the bullet bill functions better because now it at least follows an AI path somewhat before it goes in circles. Still it is unused in the battle mode
I have two theories on why bullets crash the game. 1: Bullets have a specific path they follow, which is shared by red and blue shells. In battle mode, this path probably doesn't exist, so the game crashes. If this were the case, bullets would work fine in the glitched battle mode in CTGP, which makes the game use normal tracks as arenas. If this was the case, why don't red shells and blue shells crash the game? Both items are designed to appear in battle mode, and Nintendo likely modified their behavior. You can see this in red shells as they travel in a straight line until they get near a target. Theory 1 doesn't quite make sense, because the bullet does try to go to the origin. Alternatively, the bullet doesn't know where everyone's progress is in the race, and doesn't know how long it should last.
Idea for future mario kart battle modes to have bullet bill: Make it EXTREMELY rare like rarer than the lightning in super mario kart and make it chase down cpus on the other team for maybe 5 seconds Just an idea
I personally think they should've had the Shock/Lightning ⚡️ be in Coin Runners ,not Balloon Battle. I think it adds an interesting challenge for the players trying to get they're coins back. I think the POW makes more sense to be in Balloon Battle instead of Coin Runners because loosing Balloons is costly. The POW would make it so that you can avoid it, and if you don't ,you'll loose a balloon.
Do POW Blocks appear in Coin Runners? It's been a while since I've played this Battle mode it weird how some items are only in certain modes. For example I don't understand why the Shock ⚡️ is in Balloon Battle but not Coin Runners if anything it should be the opposite. It's just surprising because the shock is the most powerful item in races meanwhile in Battle it's kinda useless, it doesn't give you a point ,it just slows the players down and makes them loose their items.
ok so if we can get the game to not crash in dolphin when using the bullet bill in battle mode by disabling panic handler, how can we get the game to not crash on wii console
