Ivan's birthday was more a week ago, however I am posting it now. Shanghai wa really hot at that time. PS : There were some things I wanted to add to the video but forgot. Like I thought Odin was gonna come back in the afternoon so I would just ask him to pick us up from the park but he couldn't make it in time. Odin also bought many nice clothes for Ivan too but I didn't know that until the next day.

Oh my goodness-do be careful. You are an amazing mother! It's scary how the world is roasting and some countries including colder ones arent prepared-and yet we use more plastic, cut trees, use more cars etc. I am hoping you replaced your electrolytes with that coconut drink. That lady was nice however do be careful of some people who appear kind and yet kidnap children though I know she was probably part of your society. I have noticed kind people exist all over the world as do criminals -however some people like t talk about the bad of one country and not the good and the good of another but not the bad. Ivan is beautiful and love his little talks-hope you teach him to speak the language you speak in your country too-Happy birthday Ivan-lovely pressies. I have friends who live in super clean massive societies in India, especially in the bigger states. The people from your country are so helpful and kind. We are planning to visit Rajasthan next year and are terribly excited. Any tips?
agreed. Please only visit in the winter months. I suggest visiting Jodhpur fort, that’s where I took my Chinese family and also go to Jaisalmer. Rajasthan is full of historical forts and palaces. You have to keep at least a month aside to visit all the major attraction. Rajasthan is very close to my heart

@@memanuel5299 Some of my suggestion is that do not eat street food in india, you might get sick because indian street food vendors lacks hygiene. Also of you're women then be careful in india because s*xual harrasment can happen too,as well as keep very close eyes to your purse, mobile or expensive things because pickpocket occurs here frequently . Don't go outside after 9-10 pm at night unless you're in big cities but also in big cities don't go after 10-11 pm. In india don't ever use auto rickshaw they charge huge money from foreigner, use uber or ola cab taxi which is booked from app.

Sadly people think the West is safe but the same thing happens here too be it in Europe, Mexico, America-with scary stories for women and men regarding abuse, drug-induced attacks, Robbery, murders, gunshots etc etc. No place is safe and both men and women need to take care after certain hours and avoid certain places like robbery in Italy it is a nuisance or gun shootings even in schools, and knife attacks in Ubers( are not as safe as in India), Kidnappings,and other stuff, sadly I could go on- and all this in the Western society today. Whilst it is drug and economy driven in the West, it is Poverty and mimicking Western ways in the East My friends came back from train travels around India and were amazed at how safe and welcomed they felt and also how helpful both men and women were! Nobody talks about the very clean and safe states. And yes you are right even in the West we avoid certain times or going out alone walking streets-to stay alive, whether you are a man or woman. I have realized Indians have a lot to be proud of but like to complain about things that happen everywhere as if it is everybody like that. Whilst we in the West enjoy the imagined praises from the Eastern societies. And some countries sing false praises of their own country. And it's all down to media of carious kinds-we believe what we read or hear but don't experiment or find out the truth and some follow the heard as sheep do and don't defend their own. Please if anybody traveling to the West-do not think you are a hundred percent safe. Yes, we have more discipline because we have punishment and consequences-and we have govt support, but then criminals exist all over the world. Unlike India, we do not have a billion people of different religions and mind ets and beliefs in a huge land who were robbed to be poor from the Richest land in the world-from all the invasions. It is easier to control smaller countries. So you should be proud but also try to make the country safe if you are a young person rather than feel inferior about your country. Completely understand your frustrations w the heat and having to drag 3 year old. We learnt our lessons when our kids were that age. This is what helped us. We check out on online prior to booking in any amusement parks: What rides accept what height What rides allow w shoes, socks, or saddles Where are the nearest bathroom stalls, food or rest areas Which areas offer covered or uncovered platforms Closest shop for medical needs, in case we didn't get sunscreen, headaches, cuts n bruises, etc If stroller renting is avialable, locations of those...sometimes this is offered if the venue is big. ID badges for your bags incase you lose it and somebody finds it. IDs for kids w just phone # Upfront prep like the above had helped us before :)

It was heatwave like condition. Even my city in India is infamous for humidity and I literally die every day during summers. I can understand how difficult it was for you carry Ivan and walk back in such extreme conditions. The lady in black was really kind to help you during your trip to the testing center. I really really wish this marathon testing regimen ends soon. People are really tired.

We lived without ac in Rajasthan heat. But the homes there are made for the hot weather, mostly stone. Also, we have fans in India. Unfortunately, ceiling fans are rare here. That’s why people are suffering.
I have to say summer in Shanghai is VERY tough. making the problem worse is that air-conditioning in public venues is ALWAYS quite weak... I can relate to your problem even though I was born and raised in Shanghai!
Summer, winter and the overall weather is tough. Too much rain, heat and cold. The place where I spent most of my life, Pune has temperatures close to 23 c all year long and never goes above 30. And it only rains a couple of months . It was such a weather shock to come here in fact it is the worst thing about Shanghai
Love from India... Take care.. .but in India if you know we say- never go out in Sun, empty stomach and keep drinking water ..have a cap or scarf ...these are some basic things we do.. hope it will help you ... 😊
