Yeah, I think it should be a toggle. So if you WANT to play PVP and go around killing people then you can, but you won't be able to hurt anyone who has it turned off...But if you don't want PVP just toggle it off and now no one can hurt you, and you can't hurt anyone either. I also don't think there should be an identifier. So like, you can't come over a hill and see a guy in the distance and know right away if he's got it enabled or not. He either has to shoot you to find out, or ask you in comms maybe... This way, I could play with a friend who prefers PVP without having to suffer on a PVP specific server. Also, if you're offline it wouldn't have impact either way, that portion of the game just wouldn't do anything then.
I disagree there should be a separate mode so we can still play the game offline oh wait did you say when you get into you can turn it off or on?
