We just bought a 3400xl diesel with only 100 hrs on it. We use it on a mountain to cart people around, collect firewood, and fuel up generators. The only thing were unhappy with is the power of it. Yes it has a lot of torque, but only 24hp makes it feel weak, and it struggles going up some of the steep hills. My question for you guys is, does anybody program theses motors to i.crease overall power and tq? I've had diesel trucks and adding 125 or even 150hp was very easy to do. What is the best tuner or mod to increase the power? I am aware of the speed mod, but we're looking for more then that. Thanks!
The diesel engine offers more power than the gas engine. But that is not something you can change at this point. You might check with your local dealer if they have one you could look at. We sell mostly gas units because it is quite a bit cheaper than the diesel engine. But the diesel does have a little more power than the gas.
Oh you don’t know the half of it. Yes you can put the plow on it, fully hydraulic, side tilt, the works. We’ve used it for snow, off-roading, anything.
Kubota just released the belt driven model. They only had a hydro option when this video was produced. Bobcat has a 3600 model that would compare to Kubota, being a hydrostat drive. Bobcat also has a 3650 with front attachments. Then the Toolcat that is a UTV and Skid Steer model, with full skid steer hookup options.
Only difference is A polaris is well a (POLARIS) THAT name well says it all lol hell who knows they are all good machines if you treat em right they will treat you right
Never hurts to have a turbo! For a UTV is seems to have decent power, it was never intended to replace a 1-ton pickup. But it has the correct ratio of power to the ground, we probably lack weight if anything.
We have not been around Gravely Atlas, so cannot speak to all the differences. They are similar with the base machine. I believe there are some cosmetic changes, the hood and headlights are a different for sure. The box is a bit different. Bobcat has holes in the top of the bed rails, allowing for attachments to be put in easily and quickly. PVC pipe will fit really easy for a DIY attachment to be made. But to know all the differences we would have to be around an Atlas more.
@@MerzFarmEquip Thank you for the reply Merz, I test drove the Atlas 6000 and the Kubota 1140. I would like to learn more about the Bobcat before I make a decision.
Not on the 3400 but it is on the 3650 UTV. The 3650 has a front PTO shaft and the M.A.X. attachment system. They offer a rotating broom, bucket, pallet forks, landplane, mower and a snowblower attachment.
Russell Haynes Kohler has been a good engine for us. The Yanmar wasn't bad, it was a good engine too. We have not had major issues on any of them. So we are splitting hairs picking a better one. Deere does partner with Yanmar for a lot of their smaller diesels. Including their compact tractors.
T Hill the base machine list at $12,699. However they have cash rebates and other offers to get them down to around $11,500. Then you can add accessories.
Do Clark have a non polaris bilt machine, and also how does bobcats compare to Can-am defenders. Here in n.z Kubota hydrostatics are classed as premium ultra reliable machines but I wont go there due to pricing.
conmanumber1 Bobcat has all these machine built by Polaris. The 3600 Series is a Hydrostat drive. Bobcat allows you to add options as you wish. Their controls in the cab version are much handier than the other guys who put their fan control knobs on the passenger side. Also the cab is better laid out for operator space. They do have a "bigger" cab by square footage but it is all wasted space above the operators head.

Well you watched for at least a bit longer to type the comment ;) If you want to click back and watch it will explain that the machine is built by Polaris but to Bobcat standards. Several things are upgraded on the machine. The engine is torqued differently, therefore performs differently. The rear axle is heavier, the front bumper/grille is different and designed for farm/construction site/work environments.
We will cross you off our potential customer list! Made by Polaris to Bobcat standards. It is work site machine, not a sport machine. We have most of our retailed machines on farms. Many of them have snow blades and run all winter long here in Nebraska.
