If Jim Steinman were alive I'm sure he would have chosen Tommy for his songs and he would have composed new songs especially for him. The original version of this song was programmed into us, this song was epic as it this. But Tommy took it to another level of epicness . Sorry to hear you've been ill - there's a really nasty cough going around here at the moment & I was suffering for a solid week & I'm like I go to the city once every 3 months generally- this time was for Electric callboy & I absolutely didn't want to be sick. 2 days before leaving I was good! Phew.
But yes you take the whole course else might as well not take the antibiotics. They make me feel awful so the temptation to stop is massive.
Mum is in a high care nursing home at the moment after a really bad fall where she smashed her knees & broke a shoulder. They had covid there so i hadn't seen her for a couple of weeks & we caught up on Tommy's releases. She loves him & she's 80 ha.

@TauriReacts thank you, yeah she's had both knees reconstructed & a shoulder replacement. She's got a trial at home today to see how she copes & if all is ok she will be able to come home. Our aim was always for Christmas. Since I found the Finnish heavy Xmas thing they do we always watch that & Trans Siberian orchestra while we have lunch lol. Traditions are funny things.
I am so shocked I didn't get sick from being in what was really just a shed with 6000 people all sweaty & just packed in. I'm thankful, that's for sure cos having a cold in summer here is miserable cos it's so hot but you want hot showers & cups of tea when it's like 35°c that doesn't work.
I've told mum all the metalheads are cheering her on, every bit helps I reckon!

It's good but not so good as the Original, He has a good voice but not the roughness of Meat Loaf, his voice is to Pure for this song.
it's the same as Celine Dion and Lara Fabian.
it's just what you like ... Pure as Celine and Tommy or Roughness or Emotion as Lara and Meat Loaf, they are both good but you're taste make what you find better.
