They all look great. And it is helpful to hear your thought process. No matter how 'thick' or opaque you believe your yellow or orange is, it will never hold up to black. A few drops of white would have helped that orange stand up to the black. Hope this helps. As always thanks for the videos!!
I just ordered 30 different sparkling glitter and gonna try and see what it looks like if I just use glitter only lures. Lol you should make a video with different colored glitter. No colors added. Lureworks glitter
Great vid, love the swim bait, but we need more bonus fishing! You should totally remelt berkley maxscent. Things might get a little pricey, but I would definitely enjoy watching you gag through that, and maybe even get some sweet baits.(although not sweet smelling)
It’s the real side of bait making y’all!! Even the masters are still learning. Thanks for the content Masta Jones. I bet you’ll kill it with the triple milk 👍
Great steak, just the way you like them. Been looking at your vids for three weeks and like what you do. Just subscribed. Looking to see more great stuff.
Just finished during my lunch break, damn fine video sir. Not only is it a picture enhancement and a $$$ machine, but they picked the best one out of who knows how many... a million? a billion 🤷♂️🤷♂️ I sayyou did awesomely++
Great tries and loved the pumpkin orange. When it comes to 2.75 inch jigs, what blend would be best. I am just looking at getting started to make my own baits.
Haha..it was sooo good too .. I have to drill them on low heat..I can't get them right on high heat..my steaks are probably on the grill for a whole 20 minutes, slow and steady and always bright pink throughout with a nice char..high heat always gives me the fits.
First off, awesome video, as usual! Second, I have a question unrelated to this video. So after days of research I decided to start making baits of my own. Today was the day the last of my equipment showed up and I went to pour my first swim baits. After about 5 attempts I cannot seem to get the plastic to not be sticky. My mold is heated and I'm getting the plastic well above 350. Have gotten it to 395 in the most recent attempts. Using dead on black bucket swim bait blend. I'm thinking my thermometer is inaccurate maybe? Any other thoughts as to what is causing a sticky mess. Have been giving the baits close to 30 minutes before I try to take them out of the mold.
Check out another video by Chris called "Five Mistakes you might be making in soft bait making" One of the first thing he talks about is the tackiness factor. Can come from not properly mixing plastic (fully incorporating the PVC resin), could come from not fully heating and mixing properly, etc. The link for the vid is: ruclips.net/video/FPKjrxN6Mwo/видео.html
@@Ejaramillo77 I'm really not trying to be a pain in anyone's neck, but I've watched it. I've done an ungodly amount of research before attempting to get into bait making and came into it well prepared. I've double and triple checked that I'm following everything I've learned and it's still coming out as mush. Temp is above conversion, plastisol mixed thoroughly, mold preheated, given sufficient time to cool, vacuum chambered air and moisture out, mixed heated plastisol well to make sure I wasn't just reading original surface Temps, ect. This isn't exactly a common hobby and I have no one in real life that i can go to for advice so I thought I'd ask for second opinions in the comments. Trust me when I say I have watched just about every informative video on this channel. That is why I'm stumped.
Thanks for watching!! This was a tough one, should we try again??
Try it again with 3 color swirl!!
With a tad bit more yellow rather than orange.
I think triple with “the yellow”...along with original 2 will knock it out of the park. But what do I know lol
Might as well 👍
Sure man give it another shot? 3X the shot 😉
How dare you talk about Ford trucks like that? 😆 Thems be fightin words lol. Great video as always!

That Ecto-craw is just amazing. Well done Mr. Jones minus your crab cakes. Lol
It's mostly just the mold LOL

I want to remelt some citizen swimbaits
Those look to good to remelt!
I love longer videos it gives me some time passing material instead of repeated ten minute videos 👌🏻
Try it again. Really liked the same ones you liked. # 3 Black green pumpkin looked good.
Hi Chris just wondering if you can tell me what powder pigment I can combine to give me a motor oil colour thanks

Haha we always learning
you're a true master at your craft -- I saw terry scroggins talking about his baitmaking on MLF and thought of this youtube channel immediately.
Thanks man...I have poured with Terry, awesome experience
Those will all catch fish! Looks great for flipping.
Absolute
Try spinning your mixing block 360° while injecting to get more of a swirl effect.
Alsome video as always I liked 3-4 as well were can I get my hands on one of these c blocks thanks triple j baits
Maybe ask A. I. For triple C-block ? Or if they will to make one? Or did they use a dark brown?
Great steak, just the way you like them. Been looking at your vids for three weeks and like what you do. Just subscribed. Looking to see more great stuff.
Thank you for joining
Number 4!! Can't wait to watch, love my Ecto-Craw!!
It's the best craw mold

@@hookreelfishing haha yep..you definitely pick out that best one
As I mentioned before....yellow and black will give an olive greenish look.
Again a great video and great info. Here’s a for you have you ever “milked the cow with the C block”?
I have not actually
Is it possible to rotate the c block mid pour to enhance the swirl effect?
I love your little bass boat. How much does a fiberglass 16ft boat like that run you?
The Z6 is 17'4...was 28 new back in 2015, been an awesome bass boat.
Great tries and loved the pumpkin orange. When it comes to 2.75 inch jigs, what blend would be best. I am just looking at getting started to make my own baits.
Swimbait blend imo
@@WorldsWorstFishing thanks for your input
Could you do a color match of AYU?
bro how do u put uv
Can you spin the c block and the injector to kinda swirl them while injecting
Might be interesting
less / lighter black might work,,,????
You are master of cooking this lures but dont come even near my steak 🤣
Haha..it was sooo good too .. I have to drill them on low heat..I can't get them right on high heat..my steaks are probably on the grill for a whole 20 minutes, slow and steady and always bright pink throughout with a nice char..high heat always gives me the fits.
My buddy just said you sound like hank hill and now I can’t unhear it
Hmm
I need some of these is PB&J

15:00 I would like more orange, or more bright orange is like overpowered with black
From the TW photos of the UV Bubba craw in "craw" color, it looks like GP instead of black. Either way all of those will fish
Hmm..I need a sample
I flip my steaks every 3 minutes. This will help keep your steaks from turning that grayish color and gives more of an even cook.
I agree 3 is better or 1
🙏🙏
I like number 3 and 4. 1 was okay 2was too much orange.
Def too much on 2
That steak made me forget why I clicked here...huuuunnnggry
Amen
Try using a pearl
Yes only one flip needed
I flip em lots ha
The picture looks like it has grape in it
Anybody else see it his first and second as a greenish color. I may need to adjust my display
No green in them..that's odd
The orange looks like yellow plastic over heated to me.
Haha kinda yeah
🔥🔥🔥🔥
🙏🙏
Do you think if you match a bait to the color of your steak a fish would eat it? :-)
Absolutely yes
We used to fish with ¼" chunks of hotdog when I was a kid and the fish loved it. Steak is always an upgrade!
They may use triple injector
1st run
👍👍👍👍👍
Should buy a pack to match and payback the creator...
Mr. Jones hw dare you talk about Fords like that. You are no longer my favorite bait maker. You are #2
I am now my favorite bait maker. Lol
Haha built Ford tough
Yuengling sucks! Relax! Have a homebrew!
Nahhh....I like the German biers best
