Going back to some of my favorite game OST's, I have no idea why I never arranged this one before. Someone suggested it in a comment, and I thought, "...sure why not?" So here it is. Not a hard one to play at all; it sits nicely on the guitar as much of Mitsuda's work does.

Dude this is a really good arrangement! I really feel like xenogears on guitar is your true roots kabuki. Ok well maybe chrono cross too.

I give Mitsuda all the credit for that, his compositions fit so well on the guitar. There is some music that I have to sacrifice bits and pieces of, to force onto and within the inherent limitations of a solo guitar. Not so with much of Mitsuda's work, and I truly believe it's because he sketches out his musical ideas on a guitar. I can't say that for certain, but it *feels* that way to me, as someone who has become intimately familiar with his work over the years. Certain chord progressions he chooses, certain ideas, they are very "guitaristic," if I can make up a word to further an explanation.
And, if I'm way off base and Mitsuda doesn't play the guitar, he should! As should everyone! XD

@@kabukibear No I think youre probably right on the nose. Ive seen pictures of mitsuda with his guitar a long time ago and the photos were even older so im pretty sure its his main instrument and how he begins writing a lot of his compositions, right at home using the guitar. Thanks for the response bro all the best, love your insights and what you do.
