In Huggy Wuggy's chase, there's more claustrophobic appeal to it, while in Mommy's chase, there's actualy intanse and heart beating moment that just screams "RUN FOR YOUR DEAR LIFE, MAN!!!"
But still, both are very nightmarish... And that's why I really enjoy Poppy playtime... 🤩

I think what makes Mommy long legs more scarier than huggy wuggy is that the fact that Huggys was more claustrophobic and confusing cause the player had no where to go. MLL on the other hand has multiple phases to where the player has to think outside the box and use their surroundings to escape her with quick thinking.

What makes Mommy's scarier is not just the fact she could appear literally anywhere. But the noises. My god the night mare inducing noises she makes. She was already creepy with that sweet but demented voice the whole game, but now that she's out for blood, she just sounds like some kind of demonic monster and she's just everywhere as well.
Not to mention you also have to do parkour

Chapter 2 is a MASSIVE improvement over the first, huggys chase was basically: "QUICK, RUN IN TIGHT HALLWAYS WHILE MAKING A COUPLE TURNS FOR LIKE 2 MINUTES" but mommys chase is different, she chases you in multiple occasions, actually has A REASON to kill you, and of course the threatening countdown before the chase where she screams "one" if she gets you

I mean, Huggy has a reason for running after you too. He's probably like the guard of the factory the workers programed to get rid of nosey people. He probably guessed that the protagonist doesn't work in the factory (anymore) so it was a green light for him in his programation to hunt and kill you.
I'm gonna go with huggy since he makes it no time to think and I died like 8 times while mommy long legs. I did it first try actually

i think Daisy The Flower is the next posibility to be the main antagonist in chapter 3 and after beating her Prototype 1006 will get her just like what he did in MML in Chapter 2. After that its a high posibility that Poppy can be one of the main antagonist in the game in Chapter 4 and if we beated her 1006 will get her too resulting 1006 be the main antagonist in the whole game and in Chapter 5!! (just my theory✌😜)

I would have to go with Huggy Wuggy’s one, don’t get me wrong, MLL is freaking terrifying, but the fact she is very visible kinda shows when she is chasing you, she is very easy to hear, plus you have a little more breathing room when running due to the open space, and she gives you the chance to get away earlier. Unlike MLL, Huggy is a constant chaser, gives you no time to think and almost tears you to shreds with the vent lock slamming shut, he is also more quieter and if we don’t use the box, Huggy just smashes open the vent lock. Remember: This is my opinion.

I saw this article that mommy long legs death gave so many people nightmares the first few days after the chapter launched but huggy wuggy’s death didn’t have one so for me personally I would have to go with huggy’s
Actually Huggys chase gives you a chance of escape except Mommy doesnt and you have to use your brain to think and find out how to escape her with that brain using surrounds and what you learnt while playing chapter 2. Also if we dont pull the lever we die and when you havto use your hand to go up she doesnt slow down she is still the same speed while huggy slows down.

Honestly, as horrible as the creatures were, I felt tempted to reach out to Huggy, or pull the lever to try and save Mommy Long Legs. Maybe it was their toy outside, maybe it was the way they went, or maybe it was just human nature. But seeing them die was just as scary as the chase scene, if not more for Mommy Long Legs.

I think it might be the history of these characters, it's implimented that they are children. They track down their skills in the game tests to test their intelligence so they won't be too smart like exp. 1006, but be good enough to be a functional toy for more children to lure in. MLL fills you with anxiety and panic, as you need to time your lever pulling, and if you are 1 second late, she will get you. And the constant laughing scared me way more then Huggy.
Yeah when I played and mommy started chasing me for the final time she laughed and I literally screamed. I screamed this hard that my neighbor also came to check what happened.

Honestly, in terms of the chase and spookiness, I’d have to go with Huggy.
When MLL first appears and starts the chase, sure, it’s a lot more terrifying than Huggy, because his intro was abrupt, but it feels like MLL had too much emotion to make it seem scary. Huggy on the other hand, you KNOW that whatever it is, it wanted you dead, and nothing else; it was more like an animal. That’s my take on it.
For me the scarier thing about Huggy is that he acts like a predator, he walks slowly at the start because he knows that you can't escape. He only starts running when you get into the vent, and when the door closes, he start approaching slowly, and when you escape he starts running again

Ya mommy can be sweet, or can she? In the game some people noticed that when you’re playing her games, she is the one cheating while acting nice about you not dying from the game. Trust me, she wants you to die and in the first game she let it go to the max all the way until it got out of hand. And with the last game, she made it rigged with no ending to the path. She’s just pretending to be sweet ,to win your trust, just to kill you.
I like how there reaction to there deaths is a bit different, huggy wuggys personality is more of an animal than a person (probably because the torture huggy wuggy went through, being treated like an animal if that makes any sense) while mommy is a lot more reactivate, as she gets grinded by the grinder and also cries for help

I gotta be honest, while Chapter 2 is overall better, I think Huggy Wuggy's chase was better than Mommy Long Legs', and Huggy Wuggy himself is overall more terrifying.
It felt like Mommy Long Legs was just too easy to outwit and outmaneuver, and sure, she seemingly has no limit to how far she can stretch out her limbs, but I never felt like there was a point where she would just decide to say, "Screw the games," and grab the player at any moment.
With Huggy there's this level of deception about him that makes him genuinely frightening. He's about three times your height, yet moves way faster than anything his size has any right to when he feels the need to move that quickly, and with the exception of the chase he's always just out of sight, but never far. Even the sudden appearance of the key in his hand is unnerving, because he could attack you right then and there if he wanted, but he didn't. To Huggy, it was way more fun to stalk the player, letting them get further into the factory, but never letting them believe for even a moment that they were safe from him. Not even in the vents, where something as big as Huggy is should not be able to fit in and still be able to move as quickly as he does.
For me I think it was because mommy felt a little to human for me (experienced emotions and was scared of certain things like the fire and exp 1006) to be scared of her. Wheras Huggy never talked and only had one emotion. I did like MLL character a lot better though
You need to think fast,put the hand,pull the levers in the right time for mommy long legs and have demonic sound which get stronger if she is near meaning mommy activates panic attack while huggy wuggy only activates claustrophobic but just running and no demonic sound but he have sharp teeth that's it and huggy wuggy just walks when chasing you in open spaces only in the coveyter belt he sprinted but not fast mommy might not seem fast it's because she can get stuck while we're grappling needing her to lift up her stretchy body but i didn't expect the spider thingy and kissy missy to appear....

I think the whole point of Mommy Long Legs is to make her a "mother figure" to children. Huggy really wasn't like that with kids, but Mommy was. I think that's the point of each character.

Even if I'm not a big fan of horror games, there's something about this horror game that makes many of us enjoy it very much. I remember when chapter 1 came out and the trailer for chapter 2. Both chapters are just amazing and are scary in their own way. Soon chapter 3 and probably chapter 4 will come and go and we'll look back on when this game was first announced. This has a been a while ride since the it started.
I like to think that each chapter will have a main villain C1 being Huggy and C2 being MLL and the claw that pulled MML did the same to Huggy off screen. What I hope happens is the claw takes a part of every main villain of each chapter and will be the main villain in the final chapter

What’s worse about the mommy long legs chase is that because of her design, she can move around and get to the player faster through areas the player cannot access. It’s also scarier because in the huggy wuggy chase, you have a set path for almost the entire chase. In the new chase, a lot of it is partially free roam and choose a direction.
Both chases have only one path to go, there is not "free roam" since the game is linear...

@@Darnedkev ehhh no in the mommy chase scene you literally have a head start and mommy is just as fast as you so the distance will always be the same unless you mess up huggy on the other hand pretty sure he is a little bit faster so you have to perfectly do it and in huggy you are just supposed to run no strategy just try to get out without getting caught yet you instantly know what to do when you find the shredder and since the whole game is a one way path you always know where to go

The two chase theme music go well together
I'd pick mommy long legs over Huggy because the build up was better

As lots of people mentioned Huggy Wuggys chase was more claustrophobic but when it came to Mommy Long legs, oh my god it makes me so anxious because there's not a lot of path its on your own and she can sometimes get really close to you. Man, between each one, I dont know they both make me anxious.

Huggy:
Start: The chase starts with going in a creepy hallway with is very dark you go to it and get near to it once you go VERY near you will be greeted with a BIGtOyWiThShaRpTeetH the big boy chases you to a vent where the chase starts.

Mommy Long Legs:
The Start:You Will get jump scared by SuPAR MOM Falling down which leads to a scene Super Mom Counts to 10 to 1 you will hide and run from SUPER SAYIN MOM.
The Chase:there will be holes on top to grapple making you spiderman and hiding from SUPER ANGY MOM you will find a lever and ANGY MOM shows up and chases there will be a door which closes in front of Mommy and you will be
in the creepiest hallway in the world and there will be a door and you will open it.
The Death:While you open the door a Mommy Long Legs will spawn behind you you open a door you see a grinder and a lever Mommy Long Legs will charge in and be stuck at the grinder for a while you turn on the grinder and you watch as Mommy Long Legs gets painfully torn apart while talking about"him" (1006 The Prototype As people say) and begging for mercy at the same time once her adomen gets crushed she screams but not a normal scream a distorted one and she gets take a way by a hand people say its the final boss of the game or the hand being 1006 The Prototype nobody knows the mysterious hand.
Anyway in my opinion the Mommy Long Legs One is scarier.
The sounds mommy makes are nightmare fuel bro, i couldn't stop sweating.
Her sound's are kind of cannibalistic.
The hand looks like the thing we thought to be a robotic spider in the teaser that, when brightened, said ‘make me part of him’
Here, she screams in terror “YOU’LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM!” Clearly something big is coming, and it fuses with the corpses of other toys.
Edit: In SuperHorroBro’s play through, he finds a tape with an image of what appears to be the hand. And it talks about exp 1006 (the prototype). The tape also says that Huggy Wuggy is experiment 1170.
So I believe that the hand belongs to the prototype.
One more interesting thing to note, is that someone thinks (because of the flesh and bone on the arm of that hand) that the hand belongs to Elliot Ludwig (Playtime co’s founder). That’s all.
Dude I can’t even imagine how CatNap is going to be chasing us in Chapter 3, If Huggy and Mommy’s chase scene was real terrifying I bet CatNap’s chase scene will be way more creepy and terrifying😳
I like the MLL death more than Huggy's "death" because it of how gruesome it is. MLL is literally being grinded in front our eyes and gets chopped in half with the upper part of her body dropping dead on the floor being recovered by exp. 1006. That MLL death scene is a direct reminder to the fans that this is NOT a childrens game AT ALL and should not be treated as such.
I agree with the claustrophobia statement,and it is terrifying how such a tall and big creature like huggy can go that fast inside such a small space. But also the tension in MML’s chase was so scary. The parts where she was right behind you and you had to open gates or interact with something that moved at its own pace scared me,since I was thinking the whole time “what if this doesn’t open in time” also the countdown was bone chilling.(MOP)
Huggy was scary as heck with claustrophobia. They soon make a even more scary chase with arachnophobia and have more to the chase. The addition of having a phobia to each chase is quite unique and I hope they make each chase scarier than the last

Huggy Wuggy chase sequence makes you feel trap which you are and you hurrying to find a exit the more closer he reaches you.
I think Huggy is scarier than mommy. Im not saying mommy is not scary, shes terrifying, but huggy, you think you're safe in the vents right? Hes too tall. But all of a sudden, you see him crawling faster than he did walking, getting to you. And since it was the first chapter, it makes it slightly worse than it already was. He disappears one second, and is on your tail the other.
Yeah, in mommy long legs, you need to think fast and all, but the overwhelming stress of having huggy and his big body after you in a vent where its quite tight, can cause you to mess up.
Keep in mind, this is my opinion.

Although, MLL and HW are very scary, they have differences. HW is literally killing you for fun. While MLL is trying to kill because you cheated, but neither of them is close as scary combined or dangerous to the toy that grabbed both of em. I think the "prototype" was a special character and was killed by the toys infront of the staff. i think thats why he absorbs and want to kill the staff or ex staff

Huggy chase: 6/10 (not very scary and kinda easy)
Mommy long legs chase:10/10 (very scary with the sounds that mommy makes and kinda hard+ you need to do some puzeles when mommy chases you)
there isnt puzzles in mommy long legs chase
I mean the puzeles from the hole chase not from the final chase

Thanks for posting this. The 2nd game was so damn dark, I didn't even realize it was Mommy Long Legs that pulled that big Boulder down to prevent the player from going that way towards the beginning of the chase. I thought it just randomly fell on its own for plot convenience, lol
The thing is, i like huggy more and I'm like used to him being scary so i say 9/10 for huggy and 8/10 for mommy long legs cause there it's only the sound of her making it scary

Nope huggys more intelligent and strength as a worker in mob games I found out huggy is still there
Personally, I preffered the Huggy Wuggy one.
There are only 2 things I find disturbing about MLL, her movement and her ability to extend her limbs so far, but I feel like the ability was not used to it's full potential. Her look does not make her terrifying to me, as the only thing that makes her unhinged are the dialated pupils. The large space around her does not help, it makes her look so small compared to how large HW looks in the tight vents. She also looked tiny on the glass when she gave us instructions before the games.
Her introduction was also kind of underwhelming to me, compared to have up close and personal they made her reveal in the trailer, her introduction to the player was so distant and she looked so tiny. The fact she also talked often and interacted with the player quite a lot through the chapter takes off the original rush felt when we first saw Huggy Wuggy moving who immediately gave chase. Huggy did not say a single word, he just watched from the corners.
Every time she appears on screen she looked out of place to me, I do not know what it was but she looked like she was not finished. When she drops down to declare the final game, she especially looked out of place. I must admit, they way she said "ten." made chills go down my spine, but that is pretty much it.
Yess as a worker in mob games... after making the whole story with the team it is just like a dream
1. Exp 1170 AKA huggy wuggy (most famous selling toy huggy wuggy) last experiment before the factory shut down... was also very *more* intelligent with maximum obedience.
2. They employ who has many complaints against the company was turned into a toy named Mr poop alot..

Extending her fullest potential ability is unfair tho, just stretching her arms or her neck towards the player is just no fun, huggy wuggy is like that also, he slows down everytime the player has to do something in slow situation such as, crouching in the small open vent, door closing, reverse conveyor, every game needs to be fair. You don't need her face to be very unhinged, the laughing and groaning is already enough, the same with huggy wuggy because his face is already scary and no need some laughing nor groaning. She's big or small it doesn't matter cause she can stretch her limbs and huggy can't do that. Huggy wuggy was also revealed in the first trailer like any normal game trailers do. Without her talking, we have no idea what we are gonna do throughout the whole chapter.
I know its your opinion to prefer the first chapter chase scene and I respect that, I was just saying you don't know how it feels to develop an indie horror game
You said why you don't like how small is MLL,but it makes her even scarier,you don't know where she is,huggy wuggy is a lot slower than player,while MLL is just crawling so fric*** fast,and also you can't understand where to go,and what to do,this MLL chase is only the third part of her chase,in first chase you needed to fric*** jump over,in second to hide in the oven,while in huggy wuggy you relaxing do your work solving puzzles,and vent chase is pretty scary also

I think both are equally creepy and terrifying in their own right, but Huggy's was creepier while MLL's was just downright terrifying.
Huggy came out of no where, then almost seemed like a half-asleep teenager when he first follows you. Then, in the vents, it's as if the sleep wears off and he thrives in the claustrophobic space of the vents. His silence also makes it even creepier because you only know how close he is by the excessive slamming of his feet and hands against the vent walls and floor behind you, and even that sometimes isn't accurate.
MLL's is terrifying because you have multiple ways to go and run and, in order to hide from her, you have to think quickly or have seen and know where the hiding spots are. The noises she makes also adds to the terror factor, as it's almost like her voicebox is representing her dying humanity after being stuck in the facility for so long. The face that she also reaches for you in one part of the chase also makes it more terrifying because it means one misstep and you're a goner.
All in all, both are creepy and terrifying chases for their chapter and how they pan out and are set up, but Huggy's has the creepy and phobic way of going about it, while MLL's is just straight up Pandora's Box level of terror.

Another thing to note is that huggy wuggy is just there chases us through the vent and then just falls into the abyss. MLL on the other hand creeps us out by her voice playing with us using us and chasing us down while we try to open a door.
These two are actually very similar. The turns, the vents, the way they chase, it looks mostly the same. The only thing that is different is the place it's at, how they die, and the thing that is chasing you (Huggy Wuggy and Mommy Long Legs.)
Also the fact that mommy chases you 4 times including If you don't run away from her counting to 0 and huggy only two 8ncluding when he's just 2alking begore the vents

I like both but Huggy Wuggy’s chase feel more scary to me because you just have to live with the fact you could die at any moment in that small space. Mommy’s chase is much apparent with wide room space so it doesn’t make it that bad.
Huggy wuggy and mommy both had equally terrifying chase scenes at the end of their chapters.

@@aidenemerson670 well, nobody knew about Mommy until she was officially revealed, and many people thought the bad guy was gonna be Kissy Missy because of the hints the devs were giving out, and Kissy Missy was the only one who fit the mold at the time, so who knows, we’re also yet to see the living version of some other major toys, while they continue to introduce more
My little theory for the next monster, Play Care is where we will explore next (we see it at the end of chapter 2), “Play” might be cause of the company name. “PLAY”time co, then “Care” might mean the areas a hospital/healthcare facility. So the next monster might be health related like, a nurse, or a fitness toy.
TLDR: They might be a health/fitness related toy who encourages kids to be healthy or fit. (sorry if you had to read this whole paragraph above)
@@aidenemerson670 i think the claw that grabs mommy she said "youll make me part of him" before she dies so im sure that claw collects every dead monster in the factory to form an amalgamation (ive been thinking this theory since i saw the ending) that claw is so sus so im sure that will be the next villain

nothing will more terrifying than seeing that 8ft monster condense and struggle to chase you in the tunnel.
MLL has that demon voice and the uncertainty of where she was gona pop up, but huggy had that Mr.T vibes.
imo i'd go with the mommy long legs chase, because of the sounds and she can be basically anywhere. also the fact there are lots of parts you have to grab onto those things to swing on and if you miss she'll get you. but theyre both amazing chases :DD
