    A good follow up to this would be a lesson on Pedal Tones. I know that helped me develop accuracy especially riffing away at Mercenary's song Soul Decision. Oh man that song is a workout.

    how to count it, I cannot keep up the the metronome without starting slow and counting loud but in this case I'm struck at figuring a counting 1-e-&&-a ? for slash at 3rd quarter note it doesn't sound in flow

      You could try scaling it down to eighth notes. Then it would be 1 & 2e&, 3 & 4e&…etc.
