- Hua Hin (หัวหิน) is a seaside town around 3-4 hours from Bangkok in Thailand. It is popular with Thais, expat retirees and mostly Asian tourists thanks to nice beaches and a relaxed atmosphere.
We start our walk at the beach near the Hilton Hua Hin and walk north up to the Chinese "Jao Mae Tub Tim Shrine". We pass several seafood restaurants and hotels before we head to the Hua Hin night market.
On our first stroll through the market the stalls are still being built up, so we walk around the block checking some side streets. By the time we come back to the night market again it is in full swing.
It's time to enjoy the food and refreshments at the night market so we end the walk on this hot evening in Hua Hin.
Filmed in April 2019

Hua Hin is one of the lovely towns not too crowded and the town is very clean.
I live in Hua Hin 22 years ago.I still see something from that time.Thank you for the video.
Miss this place so much. Thank u for the video. Bring back memories
All of the sites are awesome and I hope I can visit sooner.
I'm absolutely falling in love with the town hopefully some days I will be there for once.
I myself was born in Bangkok Left Bangkok in the early seventhy and still here in the United States .
The market looks absolutely amazing and the people seem to enjoy working around shopping.
Most of the time I enjoy Hua Hin, visiting also the nightmarkets for food and drinks. Last time I visited two different markets: Cicada and the one in Hua Hin's center: ruclips.net/video/QqLtMPIg9C8/видео.html

Thank you for the walk around, wonderful mix of upmarket and original character areas. The modern elite tourism direction than make every thing look the same is not present there . Truly fantastic

Oh wow that beach at the start.. I wanna swim in that sea!
I have but the strangest thing is my skin always feels really itching afterwards. Would like to know the reason behind that
Water is poluted by sewage dumped directly in the sea by all condo's and hoteld along the beach.
O forgot to menyion its invested by yellyfish most of the year.
wonderful! made my frozen bones pine for all those spots again . THANKS!!
For a small town the development pretty fast I'm sure it won't be long before it will look like Bangkok.
Great video! I've been meaning to visit this city for a long time.
Thank you! From Bangkok it's one of the nicest getaways I think. Hua Hin is also well connected to go further South to the islands. I hope you enjoy it there
Love hua hin in march we back there .Amazing Quality of video!wat cam u Use?
Thanks! I'm using a DJI Osmo Pocket and Zoom H1 microphone - both connected to a powerbank in a small rig. This setup allows me to make longer videos than the internal battery would allow
Nice walk been there every year but never walk that far i try again this year
Keep up the good videos.
This is a cool looking area.
Another goal!!!
Thank you man!
ขอบคุณสำหรับวีดีโอคะ 🙏🙏🙏😊😊
Great video. Thank you.
Is the ocean water clean?
👍🍀😁👋
Thank you! Yes, the ocean is fairly clean there. I've been swimming there a couple of times. There are some rounder and big rocks in many places - it's not only sand. All good

Bonjour
I'm originally from Bangkok
But I'm plannings to go back to Thailand for my retirement and still looking for affordable places to settle down.
After have not living
In Thailand more than fifty years. I have in mind
The hua Hin might be.
Great footage! Thank you for sharing:)
Really nice walking tour, good view over the surroundings of Hua Hin.
Great filming so real none of that shitty modern pop music playing real life
very nice.
Hey someone built a Chopper there, I know there are HA there.have to google.
Absolutely deserted of tourists!
hua hin is my speed
So quiet now:(
that was depressing.. i never been thailand and it been so grim..
Interesting. What do you find grim there? The backstreets and quieter areas? The nightmarket is quiet lively
A great vlog. Anyone coming to Hua Hin and wants advice on renting or buying here please contact us we would be happy to help.
Hiya coming to hua hin as soon as flights start again looking for a condo for 6 or 12 months
you already been to my restaurant (sea view)
This city is empty ....ans now nobody there ....!!
I hear that Thailand tourism slowed down significantly. This video is from 2019 and you see it's lively at the nightmarket that day. Depending on what you like - many people (Bangkok) or fewer (Hua Hin) they are pretty close to each other. Thailand may have become a bit too expensive itself during the last year(s) so other SEAsian countries will see more tourists probably
Beach dominated by giant hotels
Spent a week here last month, its dead. No soul ,Nothing happening. Windy a lot of the time. Food not great. No airport to speak of, so a long taxi, bus or train outta it. The seven kings monument was ok, so many soi dogs, had a couple of close ones with them, they are quite lively. Won't be going back. Ever.
Interesting. I read that tourism in Thailand was slowing down a lot this year also due to the strong THB. Was the area around the Hilton (where this walk starts) also empty? In 2019 it was also quieter than the years before though it was off season (May). You see in the video that it's still just busy enough. December / January should be high season...
Narrow beach and not impressive
Video doesnt show how poluted the city really is.
Look online for air quality apps.
And the sea is poluted by sewage dump from the hotels along the beach.
Is the water quality bad around the Hilton or more south? I found May too hot for me there. Up until March / April on previous trips it was pleasant with good air actually. The water seemed also cleaner than in Phuket
City empty and sad .
The night market ( 27:50 ) was a bit busy back in 2019. I also remember Hua Hin t be more lively 2018 and before.
So empty city !!
