I get lost watching good Western movies, romance, action, drama , history from back then. They had a good story to tell, plus all the great actors and actresses they had back which today they don't even come close! The only other movie I can remember having seen in in was the Robert Taylor-Elizabeth Taylor "Ivanhoe," in which he played Wamba the jester, and as I recall he was killed in that one!

A stellar cast of actors. The last of these great ensemble casts assembling many top leading and supporting performers. Today they cannot do it without the film costing the GDP of a nation due to the obscene salaries in Hollywood. One thing....... there is a plethora of 40's and 50's films uploaded recently but they are ALL brutally edited. No Hollywood or British film of that era ran only 1 hour 17 minutes. Many are as low as 1hour 01 minutes or anywhere between Most films were more than 90 minutes or no one would have bothered going to the cinema. Only television films were about 90 minutes. Why all the people who upload cut the films down is strange and totally disrespects the art of film.
The word old is funny. My grandmother died at 100. I got a ton of years yet. I play bridge with a 96 year old woman that is still very good. Thanks for sharing.
