Now rewatching in my 30s.. it's a whole different vibe. I didn't see back then how desperate Lauren was and made herself look. It was obvious Steven wanted Kristen the whole time, Lauren was only a backup option when Kristen was playing. But the fact that Lauren obviously knew that and continued trying to be with steven, no wonder Kristen didn't like Lauren.
I wish they included the scenes where he spent the night/she made him breakfast the next morning!! And even though these are just Laguna Beach scenes, I also wish the scenes when he visited her on The Hills during her house warming party/went to dinner were included. Their bond has always been so special and so sweet, he always cared so much for her. I think he always liked Lauren but liked Kristin's personality type better for a relationship.
I don’t think it would make a difference, you could love someone platonically and show them affection you would a partner. It happens and sometimes people think they’re doing a good by behaving that way but really they’re just leading people on and that’s what he did with LC.

Lauren and Stephen are still friends. I think their relationship was hyped up on tv. Whitney Port has her own RUclips channel where she interviews Lauren and she admits to still talking to him along with some other people from the original Laguna Beach cast.

I didn't see back then how desperate Lauren was and made herself look.
It was obvious Steven wanted Kristen the whole time, Lauren was only a backup option when Kristen was playing. But the fact that Lauren obviously knew that and continued trying to be with steven, no wonder Kristen didn't like Lauren.
I wish they included the scenes where he spent the night/she made him breakfast the next morning!! And even though these are just Laguna Beach scenes, I also wish the scenes when he visited her on The Hills during her house warming party/went to dinner were included. Their bond has always been so special and so sweet, he always cared so much for her. I think he always liked Lauren but liked Kristin's personality type better for a relationship.
I think he said it too in season 1 to his friends. Lauren is the best for a relationship,such a good girl but Kristen is good for fun.

I don’t think it would make a difference, you could love someone platonically and show them affection you would a partner. It happens and sometimes people think they’re doing a good by behaving that way but really they’re just leading people on and that’s what he did with LC.
