Mammootty, Nivin Pauly,, Bala or others. If someone is innocent, they should not feel the need to hide behind others. Face it like @Nivin Pauly did. It is concerning to see individuals willing to compromise their integrity to gain entry into the industry, as this deprives talented young individuals of opportunities. Because that it become a norm for girls to please influential individuals in order to advance their careers. I recall a young director sharing an experience where a top actress allegedly used flirtatious behavior to manipulate him, only to accuse him when he accepted her advances. These manipulative tactics and pleasing to step up only serve to harm the industry. It is important to note that it is not the women protesting to clean up the industry in fault. Additionally, I do not support the idea of censoring RUclips and social media. Every citizen has the right to express their opinions of unethical means to gain fame and influence of any individual., it is important for those who are aware of the truth to expose their actions and intend. Otherwise, not only the movie industry, but our future as a whole, will continue to be tainted. Some criminal will rule our state. You must try to stop film industry people entering politics. Either film or politics. Not at all good idea to hand over both power. The behavior of toxic individuals portraying themselves as victims is both amusing and concerning. Allowing social media to be controlled by criminals only emboldens them further. It is absurd to expect celebrities to censor themselves in order to avoid offending anyone. Without the presence of social media and public figures, celebrities would cease to exist. It is imperative that we do not silence them. By ignoring or dismissing allegations, we are essentially allowing more individuals to fall victim to abuse. It is crucial to recognize and uphold the rights of all individuals, I hope the law will not change social media rights of public openion.
Still don't get what is Ranjini's concern? She signed a confidentiality agreement. That was honored. Unless I am mistaken, no abuse victims names have been revealed even in the original version of the report. The redacted version does not have names not even those alleged of crime or misconduct. Also since this is a study report and not a legal document, I can't see why each person who deposed need to be part of the review and edit process. That is the job of the Committee I would imagine. The government can decide if further consultations involving stakeholders are required in order to understand how the recommendations can be best implemented perhaps across the board. Slows the process for sure but the Government isn't wrong if they wish to do that.
