21-year-old truck driver, Stephen Wayne Philp aka "Trucky" was laid to rest on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Annotto Bay cemetery in Annotto Bay, St. Mary. Despite the strict protocols, hundreds could not resist the opportunity to say farewell to their beloved Stephen.

I am a Jamaican, now resides in Canada, I am home today resting from hard weekend shift in the nursing home. I have worked with so many seniors and most of them live to over an 100 years old. And as I watch this You Tube video on a young man's funeral it made me feel so emotional and spiritually challenge with live without God. Can just imagine the pain and grief the family and friends are experiencing. But, God who created us said, we are nothing but grass. In the morning you are fresh and blooming but at the evening you withered away. This should also reminds daily that our Creator told us His children so we are not too young to depart this earth but let God be your number one in all our lives. I give my condulance to the family and friends for losing your joyful individual at such young age. God peace and strength to you all. That is the true Jamaican love of everyone showcase on social media.
