This is pretty cool! I also love theater, what's your favorite play?
@apotato3801 Unfortunately, I haven't been in theatre too long. I just started actually getting into it a year and a half ago.
But I love Shakespeare and musicals.
If you genuinely accept all bodies you would accept your own. Its the same as having to love yourself before you can love others.
@antonhaq3503 Very fair, although it is easier said than done.
I do appreciate the critique though.
@antonhaq3503 However, the issue is I am a bit gender dysphoric, which can get complicated. That's why I believe I have an issue with my body.
@@aidenswallowdrag I do understand where you're coming from on this although you did make some statements about yourself that I find somewhat confusing.
As for my original point being that you need self acceptance before you can accept others, I'm not sure if I even believe that.
@antonhaq3503 That's fair. This was just an overview, so I did not go completely in detail. And since I do not want to overly script this content, I understand I might come off confusing at times. I'd be happy to elaborate, though, or even bring up in the next episode.
I know it is a hot take when I say you gotta accept yourself before others. The reason I say that is to enforce self-love and self care. I used to be that guy who hates myself but tries to help everyone else. I saw how damaging that is / was. The message I wanna send is that of self care first.
@@aidenswallowdrag It's a topic worthy of discussion. Self love is healthy but personally I believe you can love others without loving yourself.
I'm probably more accepting of myself now than I've ever been but I've a long way to go, k carry s lot of guilt, shame and regret.
not all boomers are bad.
Very true lol
