This one time I went, I was like 7 and in the first row. They said it was the splash zone so I was literally cowering in my rain poncho and one of the guys spotted me and just stared at me for like 10 seconds as I tried to hide under a transparent piece of plastic.

The Blue Man Group is an unreal experience. I suggest anyone to find the best opportunity to go see them in person. I had the chance to see them on a Vegas trip and the music, the environment, the audience interaction and the sound of the big drum (And much more) is absolutely phenomenal.

I’ve seen BMG in Chicago 4 times (brought friends twice), NY, Orlando, Vegas and on tour. Love them! But honestly, the newest show in Chicago (January 2019) was lacking in my opinion. Glad they brought back the tp finale, although not as engrossing as when they played Last Train To Transcentral. Need more tp! But the new music seemed less memorable and rhythmic. This is just my personal opinion, but I won’t recommend the new show for anyone who’s seen previous shows.
They should let Boys Noize get his hands on those. Sound is uncannily familiar.

The blue man group used to have a piano the sold in big box stores. Of course I was too young to understand what they stand for but it’s interesting to hear what they stand for
Blue man group sold Intel now they are part of the Cirque du Soleil, a fitting company for what they do.

When I was like in 3rd grade we took a class trip to Boston & saw them there. At one point in the show they were running and jumping over seats with flashlights.. and one of them turned and hit me straight in the forhead, which resulted in a huge gash with blood dripping down my face 😂

Its a fun show that you need to experience.
This group definately inspired me as a kid to see things for more than they are intended to be. To find new ways of using something in order to make something more. Something new and amazing in it's own way. They are part of the reason I began to love working on cars and computers. Finding ways to make things do what I want or need, even if they aren't the best for it, has helped me enjoy life far more than I believe I would have otherwise.

Seen them live, they are very entertaining but the music itself is boring asf after a couple tracks it's just .....boring...But the entertaining factor made up a lot for their lacking/so so music

I would just see posters of them when I was little Kid and would see them associated with nickelodeon and just thought they were some silly blue guys. never news they were an actual a preforming group
I actually dont think they ever associated with Nickelodeon other than maybe some marketing. But nah they're no joke, they're an off broadway musical theater performance company that has a very substantial number of awards and nominations behind them for a variety of reasons 👍
From that perspective this may be one of the longest-living LIVE jokes to exist. Props to them for the history they’ve made, impact they’ve had, awards they’ve received and inspiration they’ve given me :)
