Well technicaly all malayalees are decendants of chera dynasty, which had "Sentamil" as their mother tongue, later adopted to mixing of sanskrit & Sentamil which led to Malayalam as official language and followed the same vatteluthu script.All this happend less than a millenia ago..So malayalees are blood relatives of tamil people & its also true that Tamils have more acceptance with Malayalees than any other groups..
