You have to save the .edu file created in the student CAD version and open it up in the master CAD version. There you will have the option to output the .edu which then turns it into the .gm file the cutter can understand. Good news anyone can get free version of student CAD and send you a file, down side is if you only have student version you cannot make a cut file the cutter will understand.
@@keiththeo1910 Thank you. When I click on open in the Master version, and locate the .edu file on the thumb drive, it is looking for .cdl. I click down to open all files so the.edu files appear. When I click on an .edu file, I receive an error message: Error reading file (E:\)
Male and female tools...they just determine which side of the line the machine will cut on, the inside of a circle or the outside of it for example. If you draw a 6" circle the male will cut a 6" hole in the plate (causes its cutting inside the circle) while the female tool on the same drawing will cut a hole larger than 6"(causes its cutting the outside of the circle) but the piece that falls out of the plate will be 6" if that makes sense. That said...guess what online the tool does lol

Yes, in this case it's 4ft x 4ft because I have a 4x4 growth series table. The square is based on a setting in options.
