It depends on your riding style, A bigger front sprocket and smaller rear sprocket gives good top-end, and a smaller chain sprocket and bigger rear sprocket give good acceleration/Initial .

makes it not that "MT" anymore
In fact R15v3(v4) already has a 48T sprocket stock
and that's the only difference between R15 and MT15 (I don't feel any ECU difference that Yamaha stated)
