    I was having yet another driving experience of being stuck behind a slow driver when a version of this popped into my head. It goes;
    You drive so slow, slow. Got nowhere to go
    You crawl, crawl. You hardly move at all
    Slowing me down, down, crawl along the ground
    Don't wanna be stuck behind you slow driver
    Perhaps my brain was trying to head off road rage.

      This song "Skydiver" was faithfully revived for many years by legendary Melbourne glam rock cover band "The Melody Lords" in the 80s and 90s. You can catch the Melody Lords on RUclips and more recently, (out of glam costume), two of the band have been doing Melb ISO pick me ups from a park bench unmasked! "SKYDIVER" was in their set yesterday (5 Nov 2020). The "Lords" as they're known to their legions of glam tart fans, were a Melbourne (and Sydney) live glam rock institution for many years at pubs and clubs. Have a listen - I think on Facebook you've got to search for Jeremy Stanford (one of the band members) - videos are posted on his page. All good memories and a bit of fun. As for Daniel Boone, how bloody good was he!

      @@jamcofec hi Nick, thanks for the info and getting in touch. Surprised my words went that far. D@nial aka Peter Green was a very prolific song writer and years ago he wrote a song called I Belongfor the Eurovision Song Contest sung by Kathy Kirby. The song came second which helped him on his way. A song was written for TomJones which he rejected and Daniel recorded it and it got high up in the American charts and also I believe no 2 here. He had Beautiful Sunday in the Japanese charts for 10 months and they loved him and also very popular in Europe. I met his parents before he had a hit and they told me was doing gigs but it didn’t re@lly register with me till years later. I went to a cinema live show in Kingston Surrey and sa Tommy Bruce and the Bruisers with a song called Ain’t Misbehaving not knowing my cousin was playing lead guitar. He was a month older than me and I’ve seen him a few times on TV. Thanks again for your thoughts! Very kind. Geoff.
