- Just last month, we made history with the first helicopter flight on Mars! Now, after several more successful flights, NASA is expanding its plans for the Ingenuity Mars helicopter to explore how the technology could be used for future missions. In this live stream for students in grades K-8, we'll build our own paper helicopters designed to fly on Earth while we talk about how NASA designed a helicopter capable of flying on Mars.
Follow along with education specialists Lyle Tavernier and Brandon Rodriguez from the education team at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Optimize your design and asks questions as you build along with us to perfect your helicopter at home.
