Going to have to try this! I created an AWS EC2 server just so I could install packages and run my code. Had such a hard time making layers for packages work for Lambda. I think maybe because I didn’t name that folder “python”. Hoping this works because I’m now paying $10/month for that EC2 instance.

Yeah lambda is free for the first like million requests a month or something - definitely worth switching. Would be interested to hear if you follow the guide and you have any feedback. Feel free to comment here or dm me on Twitter @rhettre if there’s anything I can do to improve the documentation

i adore your videoes which includes automation and coding in trading algorithms and apis,
one question, if we run out of free-tier 1 year aws service is that cost economic for example to call a lambda function in about each 3 minutes for trading? i mean does aws cost so much that you may not want to put the orders for you?

You get 1,000,000 lambda executions per month for free so it’s probably not going to be an issue unless you’re doing something very complicated
