@@CyberdyneSystemsModel101 Kazuya is the more experienced fighter, but that is not the sole factor in a fight. Also, he didn't dominate the fight. In the first round Kazuya got most of the upper hand in the cutscenes, mainly due to his mastery of the Mishima style and Jin being back to his "regular karate" style with no devil moves. In this match, Kazuya IS the better fighter for the most part, but Jin's determination to stand up allows him to overpower Kazuya and deliver his Rage art and send Kazuya to his knees for a few moments. Kazuya did dominated for the most part. In the second round when Jin switched to Mishima style Kazuya is sent to his knees again. Jin doesn't even look out of breath when he says he no longer hesistates to use the style. Jin's sudden change to the Mishima style and his proficiency with it catches Kazuya off guard. At the end of the third round Jin keeps his pace and there is some back and forth between the two, but Kazuya never "dominates". After Kazuya briefly gets an upper hand with the three punches Jin changes to Kazama style. On the fourth round because Jin is an amateur with the Kazama style (and Kazuya probably fought Jun in Tekken 2), Kazuya manages to beat him badly. It makes sense, Jin only learned the Kazama style for some time and never mastered nor used it a lot. However, the Kazama style does bring a lot of defensive tools that counter the Mishima style, which will be important later on. On the fifith round Jin starts to fight for his friends and life, using the 3 fighting stlyes (good defense, pokes, mixups and offense). Gameplay wise Kazuya starts using his wavedash but that is easily countered by several techniques at Jin's disposal (Kazama double lift kick, standing automatic parry, Kazama counter throw, regular throw). Mechanically it is a very favourable fight for Jin. In the cutscene Jin knocks Kazuya away with a Kazama punch. Kazuya retaliates with his uppercut, but Jin stands up without problems. Kazuya enters the final round enraged and at ~85% HP. But if you do the QTEs correctly, then Kazuya is actually at severe health disadvantage, because Jin gets a second *full* health bar. So if you don't use your rage art, you have far more HP and damage than Kazuya. Kazuya had the advantage in the first and fourth rounds (2 rounds) Jin had the advantage in the second, fifth and sixth rounds (3 rounds) Third round (the second Mishima style round) can be argued. But I give it to Jin because Kazuya managed to hit him once in the chest but then is countered by the power stance and the lightning screw uppercut. Kazuya lands two regular punches later but then Jin changes to Kazama style. But mostly importantly, when Jin finally made up his mind in the last 2 rounds, he had the advantage both in the in-game match and the cutscenes. So it was generally an uphill battle for Kazuya. Kazuya only managed to regain a huge upper hand against Jin and technically won when he switched to Kazama style, but we know Jin is an amateur with it. As Kazuya says "You can't beat me with half baked moves".
