i’ve actually not long started playing yugioh, VW is my second deck~ the way you explain things and go over the tiny details is sUper helpful and easy to understand so thank you!! i hope you keep making more!
Nice video! I’ve been playing VW for a while now (since the calamities ban: when the deck actually became fun), but I learned quite a bit. In the Lulu + Kauloon combo, I’ve always searched Lili with my lulu effect so I could get the early tzolkin, but I often would have to pick between missing out on the value of zhizhi or the raw combo power of laolao, unless I hard drew another name. With the release of crossout designator, going for your play will be getting a lot better because we won’t have to play around hand traps as much.
New Volks Wagen player here, picked up the deck cus it's crazy cheap right now, the core at least, fantastic explanation, I do end up seeing my possibilities and asking myself whether or not making a ChenChen is worth it, or should keep scaling and doing as much as possible. I mainly played Cyber Dragons and Thunder Chaos (which I use a personal mix of stuff to play that deck) and going second has always been my priority. I'll keep coming back to this video to take notes, thanks man.
If you’d like another tip for going second, here’s one for the drytron matchup. Herald of ultimateness can negate spell and trap activations, but not spell/trap EFFECTS. This means that activating a Qinglong nets you huge value. They have to negate the Qinglong because getting any name into your grave lets you turn off their ultimateness with said Qinglong. You want your Qinglong in grave anyway for the most part (they can’t negate the search BTW), so this is an easy way to force their negates. Even if you don’t draw your haymakers like droplet or dark ruler no more, you still have a chance against drytron if you draw enough gas.
@@Raminator243 I'll take this into account. I've been maining Dimensional Barrier against everything, and I was hoping to go first against drytron and call ritual if possible.
Great video, very informative! I've been playing VW since pre-release of PHRA and I am the "virtual world guy" on my team. 😂 Everywhere we go Im the best VW pilot in the room. Not to toot my own horn but, *TOOT* but yea VW is super linear turn 1 but the going 2nd plays and the grind game are SOOO MUCH FUN!!! You did a great job explaining details that most people miss and I really appreciate seeing someone as passionate for the deck as I am. The deck is solid but forces you to think ahead and will punish you if you don't! Keep up the great content!
The end boards are a little more flexible than you’d think if you are willing to get liberal with your extra deck choices. I’m testing Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss ATM. It’s better than going for Crystal Wing against backrow decks.
While not often. Any hand with lulu, city, Another name, a card to set, a card to discard ends in a crystal wing, caliga, chuche, and shen shen with lulu follow up
I play vw I love the deck played locals tonight went undefeated against swordsoul and bird up and still whooped them I have combos for days keep up with vw.... plz Konami make more vw support
1st combo you already said Tzolken needs to send to grave but why then makin shenshen before? 1st combo you can easily end on crystal wing, calliga or dragoon and shenshen I might miss something I picked the deck up yesterday
You can end on caliga + crystal wing here but you can't also make shenshen, which therefore means that it you break your board you're going to have a hard time recovering. It's a valid play, but shenshen is super strong vs most decks anyway and helps you grind.
Caliga and dragoon are very good builds, but I don't like them nearly as much! I've done a lot of testing both, and they're fun, and there's nothing wrong with it, but the flexibility in the extra by cutting caliga/dragoon+muddragon really expands the toolbox!
Please keep making videos about VW. Love them and I absolutely need a guide to help me playing it!
I already knew this stuff, but I watched anyway because you explained everything so perfectly. Very complex info made easy. You got my sub

Does your team have a youtube channel?
@@simoneoddenino7047 3rd rate duelists, I think our last video was actually my VW list from a few months ago. It's changed quite a bit since

@@Raminator243 yea there's not a liberal bone in my body. I like my ED probably won't change
Your pronunciation of the Virtual World names is really good.
Other than Qinglong (it’s supposed to be pronunced Chinglong I think)
@@Raminator243True. There’s also Xuanwu, where the x is a sh-sound, the u is some weird cross between an i and a u, and the a sounds like “eh”.

Can ask youre main extra and side deck? Tnks
where can i find those sleeves?
Invoked Shaddoll generally tries to make Mechaba, which stops Qinglong. So that play isn’t quite as good as it might seem.
pog pogchamp poggers
volume a little low
what sleeves is the extra deck in
Imperium Duelist Border Outer Sleeves! I got them on wave two preorder, unsure if they're doing another wave
