Perhaps you should ask Mr Brink about that. I bet it has to do with the fact that the anc didn't want to give the money needed. Same old, same old. I have a friend who is part of the DA. When our minisub was vandalized last year and we didn't have electricity for 25 days, she worked with others at the DA begging the ANC government for the funds to buy a new minisub. It took everything they had, even threatened to go to court. I think in the end it was a couple of wealthy DA supporters that gave the money for a new minisub. I will never forget their hard work and sacrifices they made. Check the facts. Not to mention the anc is still in government, have the money thanks to corruption to pay off all the debts but refuse to do so.
If I am in error about Mr Brink, I have full confidence that the DA will fire anyone that is not doing their job.

Hes the leader because of his experience and he has leadership skills. Qualifications help but they dont mean as much as you would think. I have seen some incompetent people with the highest qualifications.

I don't have a problem with DA, I'm eager to know who to vote for. If we say we want merit based employment, how does that look? If some people can be hired with half the qaulifications, half the results and half the experience.

His experience is in eThikwini, not CT. And DA coalitions have made a mess of other metros outside of CT.

That money dates back to around 2012/ 2014 when the ANC was firmly in charge!!
The ANC then plundered billions more when they illegally placed Tshwane under the Administration of the Gauteng ANC Provincial Government for almost two years, before this was overturned by the Courts!!
