Awesome video! I will get my panda on the bracelet + strap in April 😊. If the bracelet had a function like Monta, that would have been awesome. I could have paid a little more to get that feature everyday 😊.

A great review Guy on a great watch. I would be more than happy with this watch on the wrist. A well proven workhorse movement within and a fair bit less expensive than some other options. I have to agree with the micro adjust options comment in todays market. I think this is more of its own watch than a Cosmograph but to me takes inspiration a little from the Speedy. The only criticism is the lack of indexing on the bezel around the three position that looks slightly odd on this example.

I don't mind the bezel graduations being absent around 3 o'clock as it lines up pretty nicely the with the crown - as if it's a place for the crown to sit between the busy numbers. But I can understand why you might not like the asymmetry of the design.

Killer looking watch, except - is it just me, or is something off about the chronograph second hand? I feel like a baton hand, maybe in a different color, would be more legible
Very, very nice watch.
Okay, I just got this watch delivered yesterday. Before I start with my complaints I will tell you overall I love the watch. And for around $372,000.00 less than the Rolex Newman Daytona (reference 6241), you feel like you are wearing that watch.
Wearing the watch, everything has a great feel, although I will say that when the watch is off of the wrist the bracelet has a light and slightly cheaper feel. While the numbers on the sub-dials pop in all of the videos I have seen, I feel they are more difficult to see in real life. The seconds hand on the chronograph is too close to the hour and minute hands in appearance, and when either of those is close to twelve o'clock you may have to take a second or two extra to identify the time. And, as mentioned in the video, some more micro adjustments on the bracelet would have been nice. Last thing, personally for me, a 20mm bracelet does not need to taper to 18mm.

Can't say I have had any experience with the Philipp Plein watches so I can't really say how they are, quality wise. Sorry I can't be of more help, but if you end up getting it let me know how it is. They look kind of cool based on the pictures I just looked up.

When I went over to a store they told me these got the same movement as citizen’s watches and I have read on the internet that pp partnered with timex

All mechanical chronographs are thick as far as I know, even the Chinese ones are thick. The lack of micro adjustments really stinks as It is only two options unless you use a different bracelet or strap. 20mm I think you get the best selection out there. The price seems fair.
I love everything about this except the polished surfaces on the bracelet, which are going to get trashed pretty quickly. Otherwise, it’s a stunning piece.

baltic is ok, so long as when they dont use Chinese movements (e.g. their china micro-rotor watches yet charging quite expensively) .... as per this piece.

Tax in my state is 7%. Total price would be $1872 for me. That’s why I only quote msrp prices. Everyone has different tax rates.

ill never understand the benefit of double domed sapphire. make it FLAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The domed crystal allows the case to be relatively thin for a Chronograph while allowing space for the dial and handset.
In order to accommodate a flat crystal, you’d have to make the case flanks at least 2mm taller to leave enough space for the dial and handset. That would make this into a very chunky-looking watch.
DON'T buy any baltic watches, they are garbage. I ordered their mr01 for 605 euros, paid in full, in advance. I received the watch 7 months later. It ran 9 MINUTES per hour fast. I did not mis-type the last sentence. 9 MINUTES per hour fast, not 9 seconds. And the bor bracelet was very cheap, I have $100 watches with vastly superior bracelets. And they will not provide a return shipping label to return their garbage product. Live & learn. RUN from the GARBAGE company !

Ridiculous high price . Doesn’t look great. I would suggest that the name Baltic is terrible. Sounds like the type of name a Chinese brand thinks is cool.
