So beautiful listening to this older gentleman :) And i like how respectfully you guys talk to others in Japan. I have to say that I could probably never jog to work cut i'll have to change my shirt when i got there. I cycled to work b4 corona and i had a tiny towel that i quickly wet and wiped all the sweat off my back with, and I had my office shirt in my backpack all ready! Thank you for this video interview! So cool to see a man at 77 jogging and to Work! Super inspiring!
It's an excellent form of cardio it's easy and no impact on joints the calf muscles act as shock obsorbers I never realised this by striking the ground forefoot first
Is this in Kyoto? I do not think so, but am not sure. It seems a little busy. I would love retiring in Japan. I slept very well there. I just discovered the slow jogging technique and will start using it during my morning walk. I hear tell that it even can help with the accursed plantar problems. This gentleman is inspiring. Thanks for this video.
i think it's a pity that people don't have extra time to do exercise and other hobbies, especially in japan and other countries where they tend to overwork
The impact on the feet, joints and shins is lesser with slow jogging. Difficult to brisk walk 20,000 steps every day. With slow running, it's a breeze. I'm 55, and a hear heart patient to boot.
You are a gentleman and an inspiration. I will now implement slow jogging; my mid sixties, arthritic, knees will thank me.
This is beautiful. Slow jogging is for everyone!
What nice people!
I dream❤ to live in Japan
It's so inspiring ❤❤❤👏👏👏

Muito bom esse esporte eu também fasso muita saúde e paz para todos vocês Deus abençoe
You got to admire him he will live a long time because of doing that
will it damage the knee cartilage further?
I think so, but the damage will go less quickly, compared to a top athlete
@@xof64 thanks I wonder if a brisk walk would better for the senior citizens
No. It strengthens the knee and ankle joints, besides the calves, lower quadriceps and hamstrings. And the core.
Gd motivation and very inspiring but I would prefer fast brisk walking at least Will minimize the impact
